Topic: YAY!!! Blair found her brain!

Additional Comments:

Well, it finally happened.  Blair cleaned out her closet, found her brain, dusted it off, and put it back in her head.  FINALLY!  I was literally cheering when she told Todd to go find Tea.  Yeah, she's still conflicted about Todd, calling to check on him, generally obsessing about him, but at least she's not lying to herself about Todd's feelings for Tea, and she had enough self respect not to sleep with him.  There's hope for my girl yet.

Raises hand. I was cheering her on. Now if only Tea would get a clue. This guy needs to be sent crawling away with his tail tucked you know where. He's truly nauseating. How many times does he have to be in bed with Blair before Tea tosses his @ss out too?

  • Yeah, the idea that either one of these women is salivating over Todd is a real stretch for me. //SqueezeMe
  • I've been saying that for a while, ever since Todd has gotten all smirky about the two women battling over him. It's time he got left out in the cold. Tea needs to realize what a hunk Eli is and Blair needs to get back with John since the writers are making Ross as bad as Todd. Did anyone else want to slap Tea upside the head when she was telling Dani the reasons why she wanted Dani away from Ross? It sounded like she was describing Todd. Wanda Wolek
  • Yes, it was ironic that everything Tea said about Ross applied to Todd. Eli is hot, but I had to laugh yesterday when Dani asked Tea if her new man was Eli, and Tea said, ''Eww! Gross!'' //SqueezeMe
  • I can't wait for Dani to google Todd Manning...LOL....G
  • LOL! So she's smarter than Marty? Well that's good. :o) //SqueezeMe
  • Smarter than Marty???????????????? - Thats like sayin Water is wetter than a stone lol!!!!!!!

Count me as another who was so very glad Blair found her brain and matured to acting like an adult.  I wouldn't mind Todd and Blair getting back together in the future, but they really do need to be apart for a few years, and by that I mean 3 or 4.  And when I mean apart, I mean both happy with other people.

But I digress.  Just count me a happy camper that adult Blair is back.

  • I'm with you. They both need to move on with other people, at least for the time being. //SqueezeMe

Well, SQUEEZE...I must admit....it was maybe the single most unselfish thing i have ever seen Blair do.

Especially when it is something concerning Todd (because, they bring out the worst in each other) or Tea (because those two gals hates each other)

I was very proud of blair today.

  • I appreciate your objectivity, Chris. I know you're not Blair's biggest fan, so it's nice that you can admit when she gets it right. //SqueezeMe
  • Thankxs Squeeze!!! - You know, i do like Blair, and I ADORE kassie...HOWEVER SQUEEZE...i do NOT lik the writing of Blair of the past few months inwhich she has been Petty, Vindictive, Selfish, Needy, Mean and Pathetic .... but i do like Good Ol Blair.... - chris

I know, I was glad that she did that. I just wish that she also told him about his daughter. She knows what he went through when Marcie had Sam, and what she went through when she believed that Jack was dead. I don't know how many Todd & Blair fans are left out there, but I still want them to get back together, despite everything....call me a hopeless romantic.

  • I am right there with you about Todd and Blair, hopeless romantic. In spite of everything I still want them to eventually get back together. Of course, they have to spend a few years apart and then find their way back to each other. I don't know what it is about this couple, but I can't completely hate them. Pathetic, I know. ladfan
  • I hate Todd and think Blair deserves better, but I do love their history, and it plays very real that they have a connection they can't shake. It happens. //SqueezeMe
  • SM, did you always hate Todd? Did you ever like T&B as a couple? ladfan
  • Call me old fashioned or whatever, but I really do not feel it is Blair's place to tell Todd about his daughter by Tea. I think the responsibility was Tea's and has been all along. I agree that Blair had selfish reasons both for telling him and not telling him the truth at different times, but, for one thing, she only knows this information through Tea. There's been no confirmation from anyone else. And then there's the question of Ross. If Todd has the right to know from anyone who may know the truth about the fact that he has a child by Tea, then shouldn't Ross have the right to know from anyone who knows the truth, that the child he has thought was his for fifteen years, isn't his child? I mean whatever ogre they have tried to make Ross out to be in all this, the writers cannot ignore the fact that he has fifteen years of emotional investment in this child! Grr! Sometimes I really hate how the writers twist these plots!! Proudmary
  • ladfan, I loved Roger Howarth's Todd, and I loved him with Blair. I'm just not feeling the relationship now that TSJ is playing the role, and as the years have gone by and Todd fails to grow and learn from his mistakes, he becomes harder and harder for me to like. //SqueezeMe
  • Proudmary, I agree. It's not Blair's secret to tell. If she told for the right reasons -- Todd deserves to know and is being deceived -- I'd be okay with that. But if she were to tell for some manipulative, plotty reason to get him away from Tea, that would not sit well with me. //SqueezeMe
  • Proudmary, I agree 100% with you about Blair tellign Todd about Dani. It is not her secret to tell, even if she has kept it for selfish reason. You make a very good point abotu Ross. If Todd is owed the truth by anybody who knows about Dani, so does Ross. But apparently, Ross has been the monster for a while now but Dani didn't know about it. I just hate how they are writing Ross in all this. Why can't Ross be the good father AND find out about Dani? Ross doesn't have to be bad for Tea to tell him the truth. It is not an either/or situation. ladfan
  • I so agree. I'm miffed at the way Ross is being written. I like the actor, and Ross would be a nice diversion for Blair. I'm still holding out hope that he'll stick around and fight for custody of Dani. He won't get it, but I don't care. I just need a reason for him to stay long enough to change/be redeemed. //SqueezeMe
  • SM, I also would like Ross to stay, but they were laying foundation for his abusive behavior yesterday with Tea/Dani scenes. Also, what was up with Ross trying to force himself on Blair? That was very manipulative writing. I just hate what they are doing to Ross, especially to prop up that wench.. ladfan

YAY!!!   I haven't watched the show yet, but couldn't wait to post.   I say it is way past time for Blair to find her brain.  Now if only she could stop thinking about Todd...

  • I hope I didn't spoil it for you. I was just so excited. //SM
  • Nope, not at all. I will be back to post more after I watch :) ladfan
  • Ok, watched the show. I am very happy that Blair stopped and asked Todd to go to Tea. She might be hurting now, but this is better for her in the long run. Good for her, this has been too long coming. But better late than never. ladfan
  • I was proud of her. //SM
