I know there are supposedly so many John and Natalie fans, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why, but anyway, from Mitch's crpytic saying to John about he and Natlie getting back together, the unexplainable and pointless killing of Jared, the sudden disappearance of Marty, it seems like it just might be a start to John and Natalie part 2. I have NEVER liked to pair together, boastful and (still) unpunished Natalie (remember her original reason for being in Llanview and constantly brooding John. I LIKE him and Marty. I think age and experience wise there are a great match. But anyway, I hope TPTB aren't trying to go there. Anyone else agree?

When John first came to Llanview as an FBI agent and Natalie was married to Cris and then he supposedly died, I liked the pairing. But it was ruined almost immediately by John and his dead fiancee. From there, Natalie just became whiny and clingy, when she had at first been feisty.
The only John McBain relationship that had any legs was with Blair, but the writers broke that up to put him with Marty. What needs to happen with John is for the writers to stop creating some reason for him not to commit to the woman he is with. With Natalie it was the dead fiancee and then the fiancee's sister. With Evangeline, it was Natalie. Blair, it was Marty. Now with Marty, it's Natalie. It got old a long time ago. So, the man has commitment issues. Let him be without a woman hanging around waiting for him to stop brooding for a while.

Message: John & Nat did not interest me the first two times, and they won't the third time either. I don't think there's any way of avoiding it- I think the writers will definitely put them back together. honestly, if I had to choose, I'd take John & Nat over John & Marty. (That doesn't mean I'd like it though.) ; )

Message: I was not a fan of Natalie/John pairing, mostly because I have never liked Natalie. John was brooding, always concentrated on something other than Natalie. But I don't know what you mean by unpunished Natalie. Why does she need to be punished? John and Marty are dull. While I am not for two women fighting over John AGAIN, if Natalie can break up John/Marty, I am all for it.
