Additional Comments: If Ron Carlavatti(sp?) is on vacation, maybe that could explain why the show has done a complete 180 and become almost unwatchable again, after giving me, and many others, hope that we could become an emmy winning show once again. Right now, the storylines and the acting is for the most part, horrible, and I am FFing through 80% of the show again. They need to get rid of these weird Mindorra and 68 storylines, and get the show back on track. Not to mention that I find Tess particularly irritating these days and I cannot believe that no one can see that she's not Jessica. Also, this thing with the kid wanting to give her baby to the wacko Marci is disgusting! Please PTB, I've almost had it! Give us some GOOD story again!

Message: I agree, what happened?? One minute it was kind of edge of your seat good then it just dropped beginning with the anniversary shows. The Mendorra brought nothing worth watching, I never saw Tina before but she is way too cartoonish for me. The 1968 story is just a mess to watch and try to comprehend. I am having a hard time reading about it even. Please fix this!

Message: Hopefully things change soon, because I can't believe how fast this show has gone from so good to so bad. Both 68 and Mendora are cringe-inducing bad, and even the action in Llanview has turned cartoonish, with Tess as Snidely Whiplash and Gigi as a time-traveling rescuer.

Message: ITA! I was really getting into this show, even enjoyed Viki's brief (and the operative word is 'brief') trip to Heaven, but this 68 storyline is dragging on way toooo long (and is stupid) and Mendorra is just embarrassing and boring as he**. I haven't watched the last week but I just lost interest. And send Marcie to a hospital so she can get much needed therapy and rehab.

Even the best soap writers have off periods. It is expecting a bit much for them to hit it out of the ballpark EVERY time! Agnes Nixon was a great soap storyteller, but even she had some clinkers from time to time.
