The evil Mitch Lawrence (Roscoe Born) returns to OLTL this month. This answers a LOT of questions..possibly Rex's dad, Jessica's stalker. I like Mitch as he adds a lot of drama to boring storylines.

I am holding out hope that Mitch doesn't turn out to be the father after all - that it's one last red herring. I see Mitch as purely stunt casting, and I just have a feeling that if and when they drop who Rex's dad is it will have contemporary ramifications.
Based on both the spoilers AND what we know about the provider of "Bag of Blood," why would Mitch want his son out of the way when he went after Jessica and Natalie? Wasn't the man under Roxy's care have pictures of only Shane and Rex by his bed as the nurse got him up to speed? The spoilers have this information coming from Aunt Corrine, who lied to get Rox to travel back across country, only to set him up.
I have no doubt that Rex's real father is involved in the Mitch Cult - and I know we've got more to learn as (supposedly) Allison returns sometime soon - so whatever is happening now, I think it is the tip of the iceberg and that Mitch's role isn't going to be more than Powell Lord or Carlo Hesser's were.
I stay firmly committed in Peter Manning, former Mitch Lawrence disciple, adopted father (and biologicial uncle) to Todd, and possible child abuser, is Rex's father/Shane's grandfather. Whoever it was went to great lengths to help Auntie Whorebag out of the Bag of Blood situation - whoever it was has a vested interest in his son and grandson AND with making Roxy pay - AND whoever it was, both Kyle Lewis and Auntie Whorebag also know the identity - plot points that I think will eventually come to play when they finally, finally wrap this up (which I do NOT believe is this month).
Keeping the faith - Todd and Rex are cousins - Shane and Jack are second cousins
