Message: I remember her from The Guardian with Simon Baker. She was only in the first 5 or 6 episodes playing a social worker. Good actress. Bad accent.

I'm pretty sure Kathleen Chalfant also played Starr's doctor when Starr had aplastic anemia eons ago.
She's a very well-respected theater actress.

Message: I don't know her name, but the first thing I said when I saw her was , "Hey, she was in "Duplicity"!" She was very good in that. As for OLTL, she's fine in serving the purpose of a head mistress.

I kinda like her. At first she was too over the top, and probably she still is, but she is very interesting. I sort of hope we get a little look into her life.
She does seem familiar, too, not sure from where.

Message: I saw her last week on a very, very old episode of L&O:CI (Vincent D'Onofrio was sorta thin). Her British accent is fake. I could check my trash bin on the DVR and scan the credits for ya. What do I think of the character of Boarding School Mistress? She's kinda Julie Andrews-y with some strict Miss Perkins thrown in.

I tried oltl page on wikipedia and tried googling ''who plays boarding school mistress on one life to live'' for you and came up empty...
I think she did a real nice job herself...the whole setup is a bit campy though...i keep expecting to see dumbledore and snape come busting in to save the day any minute now,,,
