Topic: Forget about Todd, Tea. Take Elijah!

Additional Comments: Does anyone else out there think Elijah and Tea would be a great pairing?  They look good together, they have good chemistry, he seems rather normal, he's been pretty darn supportive and non-judgemental during the Dani episode, and they're both legal sharks.  Why in the world would Tea Delgado want Todd Manning with all his neuroses when she could have Eli?  Boggles the mind....

It pains me to say it, but I am seeing things your way more and more.  I haven't let go of the idea of Todd and Tea together, but every time the dimwit listens to the tripe coming out of Blairs mouth Elijah  looks better and better.  And, er, um, she could always "use" Elijah to get back at Todd and make him jealous--she wouldn' have to "enjoy" it!

But alas, I agree with Lat and Phoenix-he's too normal and supportive and his loyalties turned too quickly.  I am suspicious that he might have his own agenda or really be on Ross's side, despite the clonk on the head.

  • I was just thinking of a scenario about Tea and Elijah. He convinces her to use him to make Todd jealous. After all, that seems to be the quickest way to get Todd's attention. But while Tea and Elijah pretend to have a thing going, they slowly fall in love, and by the time Todd has learned all about Blair's machinations, it's too late. He's lost Tea to Elijah. Next I would like to see an ''Adam's Rib'' type of relationship with Tea and Elijah, where they are on opposite sides of court cases, such as Matthew suing his parents. Sometimes it can be played for humor, sometimes one of them will overstep the boundaries and a rift can occur. And during those rifts, Tea can be lured back to Todd. It sure would make things more interesting for Tea than Todd's Victim. Wanda

The only thing I don't like about Elijah is how easily he sold out Ross and is supporting Tea.  Where are his loyalties to his brother?  I cannot like him taking Tea's side over Ross'. I don't mind him being objective, but it looks like he cares more for Tea than he does for Ross.  As for Tea(and Blair), she will always be after Todd, no matter how rotten he is to her.

  • Well, Ross did knock Elijah's lights out, stole his credit card and ran it up on a trip to London and back. I can see where Elijah might be willing to see things from Tea's point of view. And Elijah said that he and Ross were never close. To me it looks like Ross has been using Elijah. No great brotherly love, just a sucker to use to get what Ross wants. However, I do not like that the writers are having Elijah encourage Tea to fight for Todd. He worked for Todd, FCOL, he knows what a jerk the man is. Why would any sane person (other than Viki, the ever-doting sister) encourage any woman to fight for Todd Manning? Wanda
  • Actually, I find this Eli/Tea bonding out of the blue and Elijah encouraging Tea to go after Todd even more strange. ladfan
  • That sudden bonding can be two things: A) Elijah is up to something or B) the writers will use the character as a way to bring Todd and Tea back together. I may be wrong, but when Elijah first showed up I thought it was stated that Tea and Elijah knew each other. So, it's not like they are bonding after knowing each other for a few weeks. Wanda

Good Ol WW!!!! - I Fully Gree With You That Elijah and Tea Delgado Make an Attractive Couple.

BUT. You yourself said he ''seems normal''...TOO NORMAL!

Tea and Blair both are walking catastrophes. They get bored. Todd's own special brand of chaos is what attracts them to him - even if they would never admit that to themselves.

I used to think the same about Dr Saybrooke...but now shes gone to far the other way...I think Marty's now attracted by watching paint dry...

  • If the writers weren't lazy they could come with all sorts of ways to make Tea and Elijah interesting. They could have Tea wake up to the insanity that is her love for Todd, but every now and then slip when Todd needs legal help. That alone would add tension to the relationship, especially if Eli got tired of it. Wanda
  • John is the can of paint and she is the air that dries him. vh (what on earth am I trying to say?)
  • Whatever it is, vh, I understand it completely. Not only that, I agree. Wanda
