Additional Comments: Don't get me wrong. I would happily listen to Roscoe Born reading the phone book, and I love the personification of sly, sexy evil that is his Mitch Lawrence. Who can forget the chilling scene so many years ago when he informed a clueless Viki of their afternoon of, well, you know what I mean. But I just hate the constant "back from the dead" schtick! Also, if the writers are going to re-earth Mitch, and we find out he's got another cult going on ("we grow our own organic produce!"), wouldn't it have been far more chilling if we found out that the reason Nadine and even Corinne got involved was that the messianic Mitch enviegled them to follow him? That thought, which embodies the lengths to which the resourceful Mitch would go to see his plan through, sends chills down my spine, more so than him bribing Nadine with some ready cash. I also feel like they are hurriedly trying to redeem poor hapless Jared before they do what we all know if forthcoming, but it's too fast, too late with the 'splainin. And now we're supposed to believe that Charlie killed a guy?

I don't know what you mean because I saw those scenes. Viki was (as you put it) ''clueless'' because Mitch had drugged her. You know what that means. It means ''their afternoon of, well, you know what I mean'' wasn't like what you seem to be implying. He raped her while she was unconscious. I didn't get that impression from the way you described it. My apologies if you actually did mean that he confessed to a horrified Viki that he drugged and raped her years ago.

I don't think the poster meant that it was bawdy, fun consensual sex. I think lauralou was referring to the WAY Mitch revealed to Viki what he had done to her. He talked about spiking her lemonade. It was gross and chilling the way Roscoe Born played that and we, the viewers, and Viki were indeed clueless because what Mitch described never really happend that way (Clint came right into the delivery room when Jessie was born). And I also agree that Aunt Corinne or Nadine should've been cult followers. Perhaps that role is reserved for the young Roxanne, and that is how she fell into the sack with Mitch. The nurse at the Boutet Clinic too. Just my thoughts./countess2

Charlie was a raging alcoholic...perhaps he killed someone while completely drunk and Jared helped cover it up. Perhaps it was Charlie who killed his own kid?
