Please wake me when it's over.
The only time I ever cared about Mitch was 100 years ago when he first came on the show.
It is impossible for me to care less about Chris and Layla.
I used to be invested in Gigi and Rex, but cannot bear to watch her with that haircut.
Don't care who wins the election.
After years of wanting Bo and Nora back together, I don't feel any spark.
I won't even get into my feelings about the supercop.
Anyone else want to hibernate?

Cathy, what is wrong with me? I absolutely agree 100% with everything you said, and yet, I'm enjoying the show. I'm really enjoying that Clint is being cuckolded.

LOL at you not being able to watch Gigi because of her hair!
Sorry that you are not enjoying the show. I am, mostly, but went through it just a few months ago.
It's not a great sweeps, but I'm enjoying it. I want to see what Mitch is up to, even though I wasn't thrilled when I first heard he was coming back to the show. I can only hope that with this appearance, Jessica's paternity will be corrected and it's discovered she really is Clint's bio-child after all. If this comes out of sweeps, I would be one happy camper.
I'm curious to see the fallout with Rex regarding finally learning about who his father is.
I want to see where the writers are taking Gigi. They have created a believable crisis of faith for her. She has always loved Rex - to the point that she never slept with another man - but she is starting to acknowledge that she carries on her relationship with him always expecting him to leave. To desert her. That's very interesting, and very realistic. In order for Rex and Gigi to work, she needs to overcome her fears and he needs to stop physically and emotionally abandoning her. However, I think he will go into a tail-spin with the Mitch news and Gigi will move on to Schuyler for a while.
I like Kyle, Oliver, Layla and Cris; they're a nice counterpoint to the Mitch storyline. I was just thinking the other day how sweeps used to be about happy weddings and people falling in love. Not so much any more, and soaps are the lesser for it.
