Why was poor old Marty the only one who didn't get a fantasy/dream scene? (Please tell me I didn't miss something important.) Sort of shows her significance, or lack thereof.
I actually really liked the John/Natalie dream scenes-the ones from John's perspective. Natalie had some spunk with out being an idiot hot head.
I really liked the Kyle/Fish scenes. Nicely done, great intensity. I have to disagree with someone here who said that Kyle wants Nick because he's proud of him, blah blah blah. What I really heard Kyle saying is that he doesn't trust Oliver to stand up and follow through. He doesn't trust that Fish won't crawl back in the closet, or maybe just live half in and half out of it.
(Can't believe I'm saying this; mark the calendar!
I am totally on Cole and Marco's side! Man, if anyone tried to browbeat me into changing my mind the way Starr and Langston were I stay oppose just to be contrary. Gag me with a big fat hairy fork.
Kudos to Marco for bringing up Dorian's most recent steamrolling of anything in her way for her own personal gain/glory/greed/revenge. He has every right to want to stay away from that wedding, whether it's real or not, to keep his relationship with his parents on a level for a while. If it's really important to him in the future, he can take on gay marriage with his parents when things have cooled down. Give it a rest, writers and PCers!
I thik I'll refrain from any Hale-Bop comments.
What'd I miss?

My problem with tuesday's episode is that it kept confusing me. I was busy around the house while I was watching, and I kept getting confused and thinking the matchstick scenes were real. You'd think after the first 2 or 3 times I would have gotten the point.
Hale Bopp was AWESOME!!!!! I have all their CDs and I'm bummed that they didn't actually make a guest appearance... ; )
Well, I can tell you ONE good thing I saw and that was a nearly nekkid David. Drool, drool, drool.
I only managed to see his scene with Viki and Dorian and not even all of it, but I remember the bod. In fact, I can't remember any of the dialogue. I loved OLTL today!! The best scene I've seen in a long time and the acting was superb. Great dialogue, too. *snicker*

Why was poor old Marty the only one who didn't get a fantasy/dream scene? Primarily, the reason is that a Marty fantasy didn't further or explain the existing storylines. But, yeah, she's on back burner limbo right now.
I liked the fantasy sequences because they helped explain the characters' POVs. It was good to see that Gigi's fantasy was about Rex, for instance.
I actually really liked the John/Natalie dream scenes-the ones from John's perspective. Natalie had some spunk with out being an idiot hot head. Now if the writers would just let Natalie keep that spunk if they pair her again with John. But I'm sure they won't.
I really liked the Kyle/Fish scenes. Nicely done, great intensity. I've said all along that Kyle loves Fish. He just doesn't trust him. And what he told Fish was true - Fish is not ready to be in a relationship with Kyle. He needs to date other guys, get used to being out. Then, maybe then, they can be together. I think Kyle is proud of Nick for being so active in gay rights. But proud doesn't equate to love.

I am totally on Cole and Marco's side! Me too. Who'd have thunk it? I want to slap Langston upside the head six ways from Sunday. She's becoming more like Dorian every day, and that's not a good thing. All she cared about was what she wanted. She didn't care that Markko had just come to some kind of a delicate detente with the parents he loves. She didn't care that Markko was right about Dorian steamrolling over people to get what she wants. She just wants what she wants. I've got news for Langston. She can't truly love someone if she doesn't ever listen to their concerns and consider them. She needs to grow up. (And to think I once loved Langston...)
