Topic: the show seems undecided about Ross

Additional Comments:

I think they haven't decided if they want Ross to be a viable good guy and romantic interest for Blair or a menacing bad guy. Lovable con man or dangerous grifter? -- RC seems undecided. Initially, ML's acting was heavy on the comedic charm, but lately, he's been acting more threatening and Elijah has warned him about his actions, so who knows? As a viewer, it really bugs me when the writers hedge their bets this way. I don't feel like making an investment in a character if s/he is going to turn on a dime and be quickly sacrificed in the service of plot.

RC's interview before we saw Ross said that he was not going to be a nice guy. Then we saw a surfer comic dude & I thought they changed they're minds. Looks like they just wanted us to see a good side of him 1st.

Well, I am hoping for the loveable con man. Ross is a lot of fun with Blair. I think their antics are hilarious and remind me of some of One Life to Live's finer moments in the past. It is about time Blair had a guy she could really laugh with and with whom she was on a level playing field.

The fact he has a brother too who is so much like him and could be paired with Tea, has so much potential for some good foursome adventures in the future.

  • Agreed. Good guy (or at least anti-hero) Ross has so many more possibilities than another cardboard cutout villian. Of course, if Ross is a decent guy, Tea's actions will be even more indefensible. ~ Rhonda
