Additional Comments: I actually enjoyed John with NuMarty (CC) more than I've ever been able to stand him with any other co-star, so I'm wondering if he'll click with Susan Haskell? It's a big leap from romantic poet Patrick Thornhart to the king of inarticulate brooding!

Message: No. John isn't smart enough for SH's Marty.

Message: A couple of years ago, SH was on "Crossing Jordan" and she was terrific ... so I can believe she can handle any pairing ... but I agree, in part, the writing will have an important part in it!

Message: I personally find John the MOST unappealing character on that show-including some of the low lifes. Anyone else notice how he has been in one fight after another-constantly sporting bruises and bloody lips! That's a guy who should sign up for temper management classes fast! Maybe that's where Cole gets his way of working things out with others. Hmmmm...

Message: I'm not familiar with Susan Haskell; I was not watching OLTL when she was on years ago. I am, unfortunately, quite familiar with Michael Easton; he would not have chemistry with a bowl of dry, store-brand cornflakes.

Message: I think Susan Haskell is one of those actresses that could have chemistry with just about anyone. There's an actress on Y&R who is like that, Michelle Stafford - no matter how bad of an actor they usually are, whenever someone is in a scene with her, their acting improves drastically, and sparks fly. So I have high hopes for Marty and John McBain. I'm really psyched about Susan's return!

Message: SH is such a strong actress that I believe she will pull out the best that ME can give. But it all depends on how strong and spunky Marty is written. If she's the damsel in distress that John needs to save, nothing will make the pairing work for me. ME's John seems to do best against women who don't fawn all over him. Give me that Marty and I'll be interested to see if their relationship works.
