I love Jack, both character and actor. He's got loads of potential.

I don't watch soaps for a dose of real life. I watch soaps to be entertained.
Jack entertains me.
'Nuff said.
The kid who plays Jack is a great little actor. He's very natural in a lot of ways but what isn't natural is everyone's *atta boy* indulgence of his constant smart mouth. He is pretty funny but he's also one of those characters that, for me anyway, a little goes a looooong way. I get what they're going for with the whole Todd Mini-Me thing and boy is he ever but it's starting to border on overdone. They could use to balance it out with some scenes where he's not being a cocky brat who'd try any adult's patience beyond a certain point.

Jack's scenes with Elijah were priceless yesterday.
Great one-liners:
I'll tell security you tried to kiss me! (smooch, smooch)
I gotta get a drink.
I like the kid they have playing Jack. I hope he stays on the show.
Jack is becoming my favorite character, and it has everything to do with that little actor who you can tell has just learned so much working in scenes with the actors who play Todd, Tea, Blair, Starr, Dorian, etc - he must be like a sponge, and you can tell that they love working with it. I called it back when they did the famous "Naked Lady" scene with Tea that it was obvious they were having fun working with him.
They especially have fun working him in with scenes with men, where he is a mini-extension of his father - always jealous of anyone his mother might be interested in. John, Ross and Elijah - he has no time for them.
Yesterday, however, was a brilliantly stellar day with Elijah. First, when he was by himself, and Elijah came in and they bantered back and forth, and Jack asked if he was suppose to thank Elijah for having his father get custody - then did the "Bravo" golf clap - I a blurted out a loud "HA!" and had to watch it several more times.
But then later, when he and Elijah were going at it, and Elijah thought he had Jack with the "What are you going to do? Hit me over the head?" line, and Jack thought about it and came back with the, "No - I'll just call security and tell them you were trying to kiss me."
Holy $hit that killed me! Did not see that coming, and neither did Elijah - his reaction shots to both of those two lines from Jack were priceless.
Finally, when Jack got frustrated when his folks came back, and he exited the room, mumbling, "I have to get a drink." Perfect - you can see where they may be going with the character, but I actually hope that as he gets older they give him more balance.
For now - the kid (actor and character) is perfect for this show - I don't even care if they are going to SORAS TnT's kid to make it older than Jack - I don't want to lose this actor in this role.
