Well, we've been car shopping for 2 weeks now, since my accident...still nothing!  We had a nice Honda Accord picked out, but somebody bought it before we had a chance!!  I also like the CR-V, but Alan doesn't want to pay for fuel.   I say fuel sucks no matter what you drive, and it's a smaller SUV, but he's the one paying.

Then he decided on Hyundai Sonata.  Now he's saying  maybe we'll look at the CR-V again.  AHHHHH!!

SO, anybody recommend a good car?  We are staying away from Chrysler products, we've had nothing but trouble.

When we moved to PA we sold my Mustang which I loved because it didn't have anti-lock brakes. Since he drives a small Mazda RX8, we wanted something affordable that would be good for ice and snow.  We also wanted a car that had a little room in the back to haul things from Home Depot, etc.  We looked around and settled on a Ford Edge.  We have been SO happy with it.  It gets good gas mileage and being an AWD, it does great in bad weather.

I really love my Subaru Outback Wagon. Lots of room in the back for all your girls' stuff.  Mileage is better than an SUV. It's all-wheel drive for the Ohio winters.  I have 80K miles on mine and was in a major accident. The side door protection was phenominal.

It sits lower and is therefore hard to find in a parking lot with all those mini vans and SUVs. Ya gotta put a plastic flower on your antenna or something.
