Message: I too had a connection with my Mom & GL. My Mom's been gone 6 yrs now and I still miss telling her the spoilers. I just talked to her best friend and she said GL was the only show she watched. She doesn't know what she will do now. I don't think TPTB realizes the impact of canceling it. It wasn't JUST a soap opera.

Message: Thanks for the links. I hadn't been able to watch the Sunday Morning one. I have been watching the last few weeks to see how everything was wrapped up. It's sad for me, too, even though I stopped watching after MZ left the show. I spent a lot of time with my grandparents watching the show and it was a HUGE part of my life as a teenager, too. I remember how excited I was to discover this GL website so I could talk to fans like myself! It was such fun posting on the board and chatting in the room. Everyone made me laugh. It's so sad that GL is over... :(

Message: It's almost too sad to watch. That show has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember - and in many ways, it was the only remaining link to so many things in my past that are gone. I remember watching it with my mom who has been gone for 20 years, my grandmother, and watching it with my dad in his final days in the hospital 12 years ago. It was because of the show that I started coming here and formed friendships, and eventually met and married Tom. Even though I didn't get to see it much in recent years, seeing the show come to an end is so sad to me.
