Subject: I would be curious to know what they consider not enough money. $10 an hour? I doubt any pay decrease would put them at the poverty level. Would another show pay her more when they are all supposedly in the same no money boat? GL will probably go on about like it has without her so she can leave. No problem.

Subject: Scale is more than $10/hr. However, for someone w/BE's experience & fan base, decreasing her guaranteed episodes, reducing her cycles from 26 or 52 weeks to 13 or 26 weeks IS an insult! She has a solid fan base/following that DOES add value to her presence. She IS talented. Add to those decreases, the fewer & fewer 'perks' & 'outs' vets are being offered & it is no wonder that they are insulted by the kinds of offers Corp. is making. Right now, P&G is one of the worst offenders. They've been doing this for yrs. It is certainly nothing new. Neither is putting the spin on it that the actors are 'choosing' to leave. Some 'choice'! It also hasn't just been veteran actors getting this treatment. It has also been happening to veteran writres, directors & producers over the last 15 yrs or so. If the actors can get a better offer elsewhere, they should take it. RPG is another example of an actor w/a solid following who would be more than happy to follow him to another show. eom
