Subject: Fevuh) God you're miserable donkey. Don't worry, your beloved shows will soon be gone as well, and then I hope some godawful troll like yourself takes the time to beat you down for missing your shows. Get a life.

Subject: GL and soon to be gone ATWT were cancelled because of low ratings, right? Translate that into not many people wanted to watch them the first time around (thus the cancellation) so why would anyone watch the 2nd time around?

Subject: Fevuh) I'm not calling the original poster a miserable donkey. I'm calling the person who replied a miserable donkey. I.E. the one who took the time to ask why anyone would want to see 'dead shows'.

Subject: Okay, Fevuh; I hope you accept my apology. I had never seen you do that before to an earnest poster, so I did not understand it. Thanks for explaining my misunderstanding. My mistake - I just need to reread things sometimes................................................maureen1900

Subject: Carolyn, please. Your question is like asking, *Why would anyone want to watch reruns of THE WIZARD OF OZ, CASABLANCA, or IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, since nobody wanted to see movies produced this decades, like BATTLEFIELD EARTH and FREDDY GETS FINGERED?* Or, *Why would anyone care to reread Jane Austen or Charles Dickens, when they can't even be bothered to read the latest Rob Zombie script?* The point is, classic, well-written material never goes out of style, and will always have an audience, and both TGL and ATWT has surviving archives of several years' worth of episodes well worth watching again, or watching for the first time.

Subject: Carolyn, ATWT and GL were not canceled because of low ratings, they were canceled because the coveted youth demographic, which is all advertisers care about, which is insulting. Being over 45, my money is just as good as an 18-year old's... and chances are, I have more of it. Plenty of people would watch reruns of classic era soaps, though they might be mostly of my generation and older. Apparently you're too ignorant and narrow-minded to realize this, hence your obnoxious comment. eom
