GL's Clarke Recovering

Jordan Clarke (ex-Billy, GUIDING LIGHT) recently suffered a stroke and is recovering. "Jordan Clarke was in L.A. working on VENICE, the Web series," explained the president of his official fan club in a statement. "He had a mild stroke between L.A. and N.Y. His prognosis is good and he's expected to fully recover. Fans are welcome to send cards and well wishes to his fan club. The address is OJCFC, P.O. Box 73, Bloomingdale, GA 31302. Yes. He was also caught that same night w/cocaine in the car. If memory serves, his daughter was also in the car w/him. It was right after that when he talked openly about his longtime addiction issues & the fact that he had those issues long before coming to GL. eom

Thanks for letting us know about this, and also about his website.   I'll be keeping an eye out on there!  I'm also glad he and Bill will be on this new show.   Looking forward to it!

While I wish him well, he's has not looked healthy for a long time.  That huge gut of his was a sign of trouble.  I hope he takes better care of himself.

By his own admission, JC also abused drugs for a very long time. He was already an addict when he first joined GL. eom

So that justifies him having a 60 inch stomach? He's a mess!

Stable: Many alcoholics & drug abusers have enlarged livers. It isn't an excuse for anything, just a fact. An enlarged liver would have given a very similar look. I'm not saying that IS his problem, but it is something that would be consistant w/a history he has discussed. eom

Yes, his weight concerned me, too, when I tuned in to watch the final episodes. Hopefully he changes his diet/incorporates some exercise and makes a speedy recovery./KB

And Stable, obviously you have no knowledge of people who struggle with addiction. People recovering from substance abuse often gain weight because they compensate by overeating and putting on pounds. Doesn't make it right, but it doesn't necessarily mean they're a

mess either. Unless you're in their shoes, you shouldn't make such insensitve comments/KB
