Additional Comments: Shouldn't she have a huge scar from a heart transplant, making it visible with a low cut dress? Just asking. I don't watch this show much anymore and just checked in the last half today. Is Ava's baby Bill's?

Message: This is a problem w/all soaps. AMC's Erica, GH's Maxie, for example, had heart surgeries & then, suddenly, had no scars. When KS took over the role of Maxie on GH, they 'explained' that she had had cosmetic surgery to eliminate the scar, to explain why the actress was wearing plunging necklines w/o a trace of a scar.
When the story of Erica having a rod go through her & emergency heart surgery was told to SL (Erica), SL brought up the issue of the scar. Miraculously, a year or so later, Erica's scar suddenly disappeared!
OLTL's Todd had a big, visible scar on one side of his face. He was also supposed to be deaf on that side. When RH left the role & TSJ was recast, suddenly the scar & the deafness were a thing of the past. Never mentioned.
This is nothing new.

Message: I wondered about her scar, too. Could her cleavage be able to hide it? Or are we just supposed to forget about her having a scar? Ava's baby is from an anonymous donor.
