My eyes have finally come to a point where I just can't see 'fine or small' objects. So today I announce to my daughter that she needs to do my eyebrows from now on. To which she says.. mom, thick brows are in this year.

So... is she trying to get out of doing them? Is thick in?? and who decides what's in or out. I need to know cause I wanna have "them" declare that THICK WAISTS are now in!

Even if thick is in, I can't do them.. after 40 years of plucken', some hairs needed to fill out the so called arch, just won't grow back.

which boils this post down to (bet ya never thought I'd get to the point, right??)

Is thick in?

Are you a 'plucker?'

and if you could declare something THICK to be in.. what would it be??

I plucked the temple ends of my brows when I was about 12--wanted to look like 'Wolf gal' in lil abner comics! Those hairs never grew back and I have had to draw the end half of both brows ever since. As I age, the hairs get more scattered and some are loooong and so I still need to clean them up, but I hate the artificial look of drawn-on brows. It is getting harder to do, also since I, too, no longer see as well. BUT I am getting cataracts removed soon and that should help a great deal. Check with your eye doc--you may have cataracts if your eyesight seems to be going.You can have cataracts relatively young!

I just plucked my eyebrows last week, though it was the third or fourth time I've done it in my entire life. Nobody noticed so I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. If I could have anything be thick and in style, it would be thighs. That'd work for me.

I also have no idea if thick is in. I am not a plucker or waxer anymore....i have pretty light colored brows and i leave them alone. I plucked when i was younger and I waxed once and nearly wet my pants so that will not be happening again. I mean what's it matter how your eyebrows look if you have pissy pants? You see my point!

If I could pick a thick to be ''in'' it would be hips and a$$. I would be a happy girl then.
