Additional Comments: to exercise. What can I do at home that I can stick to??? I've read some things about starting at 10 to 15 mins of exercise, but walking and such just doesn't grab me. When I hear about *gardening*, I flip as I walk/run thru my house harder than that!! I'm not disciplined to stick to anything, so I need some ideas to figure out what I WILL stick with!! Thanks!!
It is a mind set that I have to put myself in each and every day. I know that If I do it, I will feel SOOOOOO much better in the long run. I sleep better and eat better, and just generally feel better. My husband can immediately tell if I don't get my work out in.
The way I get thorugh it? I tivo my favorite shows and watch them (FF through commercials) and then reward myself with an ice cold beer on my 'cool down' period. It's great!

Message: I go to the gym regularly - the only thing that 'saves' me is I have a cassette player with all my favorite songs. If I didn't have that I would never be able to stick to the treadmill or any other exercise.

I do like bicycling...but the town we live in is mostly uphill one way or the other!...In order for me to stick w/a routine I think I'd need a cheerleader!...someone that doesn't mind me whining and complaining while we get started...I always feel negative at the beginning... and feel great afterwards! It's the getting started and sticking to it where I fall short! Mostly these days I walk my dog Lulu!
