Guidelines




Before you start:
If your a novice to this site, or just need a little help in understanding
how things work be sure to read through the following how-to's. Otherwise you
can skip to the guidelines section of
this document.
Remember... anyone can post a topic or leave a message.
To post a new topic, click "Add topic" from the tool bar.
Enter your topic description, name (or screen name),
Email address (you must enter this field.. however,
your may enter "none" or "not available") and a topic message.
Click on Preview message (or Reset to start over)
your topic will appear for you review or edit.
You may choose to edit topic by clicking this option, or post message.
CLICK TO POST MESSAGE ONE TIME ONLY TO PREVENT MULTIPLE POSTINGS.
You will be automatically brought back to the topics list, with your new
topic at the bottom of the page.
To Add a message to a current topic, click on Add Message on the
toolbar under the Topic message. Enter your name, email and message
as you did above. Click on Preview message as before, edit and post.
Remember to post only once. You will be automatically brought back to the
message list, with your new message displayed.
To answer or respond to a particular message, Click the Respond to
Message buttom, on toolbar underneath the topic.
Again, enter your name, email, subject and response or message as above.
Click on Preview Message as above, edit or post. You will be automatically
brought back to the original message, with your new reply displayed.
MEDIADOMAIN Discussion Group Guidelines:
- Topics can be created by anyone.
- Topics must be relevant to the forum.
- Anyone can reply or leave a message to a topic.
- The number of topics are cut to 100 or 80 topics each morning. This
is an automatic (computer) process of editing, where the older "topics" are
deleted each
day. Any message posted on a topic that has been deleted is also removed (even
if the message was posted the same day). Topics are cut to 100 or 80
every morning, the period of time a topic remains on the board, depends on
how many new posts there are during the day. We STRONGLY recommend that
posters try not to duplicate topics during the day.
- Please refrain from using ALL CAPS, It is difficult to read and rude.
- Use of rude or vulgar language is forbidden.
- Flamming of posters, fighting and bad attitudes will not be tolerated.
- Personal chat not pertaining to the site topics are rude to others,
please refrain from doing so.
If personal messages become necessary please use a single topic and
post responses to this particular topic ONLY.
- Email addresses are not mandatory... but can be useful for personal
contact regarding the site or other issues.
- You may use HTML in your posts, with the exception of header and font
size tags.
- Be aware that images take time to load. Most posters prefer not
to view images on this site. Some poster have lightweight computers or
are viewing from work and have limited time.
Please note in the topic if an image is included in the post.
Please refrain from "showing off".
Photo's from other websites should be referenced by giving the URL
for the site.
This way posters can choose to view or not to view without missing posts.
- Please keep topic names as short as possible.. You may enter additional
comments when you enter your message.
- If your topic includes a Spoiler, please note in the topic. Some, prefer
NOT to read the spoilers.
- Please check to see if your topic is already listed and enter your
thoughts under the current topic. DO NOT start new topic for a subject
which already exist.
- We have the ability to track and ban any poster who does not adhere to
these quidelines. Each post for either topic or message is tracked
by your unique computor address (IP address) whether or not you use
your real name or email.
- Please respect your fellow posters as well as your host.
We are here to discuss soaps and have fun, anyone ruining the "fun"
will not be allowed to come here.
