Additional Comments: I actually like Ethan and hope they can come up with a good storyline for him - maybe bring Serena on the scene? Luke would go crazy! (Although it might be a bit like Scott's son and Lulu.)

What is up the the chats with Christina - he is too old for her.

Ethan is dead weight. He's gotta go - the Holly-Ethan story was very bizarre and made no sense ... I could understand making him Robert's son, thus giving Robin a brother and Ethan more romantic possibilites. As Luke's son, he is pigeon-holed. With Jackson back, the writers will be concentrating on the Geary-Jackson magic again ... there's no room for Ethan anymore.

Serena is Scott's daughter. I have not seen anything in SOD, or anywhere else about the actress being cast. I think that a couple of posters here have been hoping that she would show up. She did at least a couple of movies, so maybe soaps wouldn't be her thing now. Unless Scott returned, having Serena wouldn't make very much sense. dd

I haven't really cared about Ethan one way or another although I didn't like how they manufactured this familial relationship with Luke. (Sadly I can't even remember how it turned out since I FF thru most of it. Is he Luke's son?) But what I hate most of all about soaps these days is the revolving door and the speed with which they abandon characters and storylines before they even have a chance to start. No sooner do you start getting into it, they move in another direction, regardless of continuity. Seems like the writing is on the wall for poor Ethan...he has no story and is expendable.

I like Ethan too. I didn't at first, not because of the L&L re-write, but because I honestly couldn't understand a word he said, his teeth were distracting and his hair needed styling. Now I can understand him better, his teeth don't seem so huge and his hair looks better. Have there been any scenes with JJ as Lucky and Ethan yet? That should be interesting.

Anyway, I hope he sticks around PC for awhile.

I like Ethan. I want him to stay. I think the actor has potential and history rewrite aside find him to act more Spencer than old Lucky. Even new Lucky. He even looks like he could be Luke's son. I think there are actually too few female characters to match up with the guys but I'd like to see him with someone. I like the idea that he's not really Luke's son, though, because I like him better than Dante and he would be great with Lulu. Do you think they can unrewrite history?

I hated Ethan in the beginning, btu I have liked him since the carnival. I liked his initiative in the accident scenes and his undying devotion to Rebecca. He sees Nikolas for the jerk he is and I love it when he calls Nik on it. I don't have a problem with Kristina having a crush on Ethan, he is older and exotic, of course she has a crush. I don't mind their scenes if this means Ethan gives that creep Kiefer the well deserved beating and protects Kristina. As for anthing romantic, I am against it. But Ethan as Kristina's crush while he treats her like a little sister, I am all for it.

I don't have a problem if Kristina has a crush on Ethan. If I was 16, I'd have a crush on him too. So far, Ethan has been kind to Kristina in a big brotherly sort of way. If it starts to turn into something else, I'll weigh in again, but for now, I'm not having a problem with Ethan/Kristina. I'm hoping he will be the one to save Kristina from Kiefer. It would explain why they are suddenly throwing them together.

Glad to have a few more posters liking Ethan. I don't mind the crush thing either, but I hope it doesn't go beyond that. Thinking back to the early L&L days, there is probably a much smaller age difference between Ethan and Kristina, so the writers could be planning to go there. I wish Ethan would sing again too. dd

There don't seem to be many Ethan fans on this board, but I really like him too. Totally agree that Kristina is going a bit far flirting with him. Though I know it would have caused him many problems with the criminal element, I really wanted Ethan to grab Michael by his ankles and keep dunking his foolish head into the nasty water. Michael had become a colossal pain long ago, now he is just a creepy jerk.

The scenes between Luke/Ethan are always good, so I hope they keep that relationship going. I also like his brotherly relationship with Lulu....even though her brain seems to have shriveled and died at some point. It would be nice if Ethan/Lucky could become close friends after Lucky finds out about Nikolas. I don't really see any girl (already on the canvas), that would be good for Ethan. However, the Serena idea isn't bad at all.

Really the guy is at a dead end storywise right now. With the eventual parting of Rebecca he has no other storyline he is front and center in unless however he finds out he is not Lukes son and that would open a door with Lulu for him since I thought they had great chemistry from the start but it was stopped when he found out he was her brother. The Kristina thing is too yucky to think about as she is way too young for him. But the other thing might be the eventual Cassadine stuff that will probably draw Ethan into it with Luke.

I know I'm being narrow here, but I can't like Ethan as long as he is Luke's kid because that ruins Luke. If it all turned out to be a Cassadine plot that Luke went along with or something, and got Luke out of that stupid story of cheating on Laura which none of us can believe who were watching then, then I might be able to accept the kid being around. Otherwise I just want him gone. I see no potential here. GHFab,
