JFP has also been very supportive of vets. It isn't her fault that there is ageism at the higher levels of television. It doesn't matter whether JFP is present or not, the vets on all soaps are getting shafted w/increasing frequency. They are being offered insulting contracts, being taken for granted or put out to pasture whether JFP is present or not! Those EPs, like JFP, who have gone to the mat for the vets have found the Suits 'rethinking' those situations w/mixed results. Most of the time, the vets are offered recurring status (which is what happened to JZ & others) w/no contracts, guarantees or pay that honors their veteran status or their decades of contribution to the shows. This isn't just happening w/ABC soaps, it is happening w/ALL soaps.

well im going by what robin strasser said, and she said JFP treated her like total crap, and i love RS so that's where i got my opinion of her from

I've never said that JFP didn't have issues w/actors. She has had plenty of them, most very well publicized. However, she has also gone to the mat to keep vets as well. Sad to say, JZ (& other vets) would have been 'treated like crap' whether JFP was there or not! That is just how business is being done on all soaps these days. RS has also had issues w/the Suits at ABC before. I don't doubt it. But it isn't ALL JFP. eom

JFP sux. she is a woman but is notorious for mistreating women of a certain age. i remember how shabbily she treated robin strasser and banished her from the show for years. thank god dor lor is back on oltl. i also read marj dusay when she was on santa barbara JFP was ex producer she treated her like garbage too. i hope one day someone tells her she's too old abd boots her butt to obscurity
