Subject: Yup, the young people around here in N. Michigan love their shorts, even in the Winter. I can top the shorts tho...saw a teen girl at the hockey rink wearing flip flops....Hello, it had just snowed a couple inches...how did she not freeze her feet off? Oh, to be young again. Elaine

Subject: Oh, come on, is that all ya got? One day? I have had a kid who has worn shorts everyday this year. No kidding. Even when it was 0. I have given it up for common. Remeber I work for a school district, I see many ''common'' things daily. By the way, were his legs red for the cold? JuMPer

Subject: Again, flip flops...our swim coach wears them most days...very seldom see him without them. It is sure amazing to me! HOW do they do it? And the T shirts when it is in the single didgets...yikes! too cold for me. I have two kids who ride the bus who bring their blankets...They came from another bus and would use them there. I guess their buses aren't very warm? Then they have to stand outside to wairt on their transfer bus and wrap the blankets around them. That seems like a smart thing to do to me. JuMPer

Subject: Girl, my son wears shorts EVERY DAY - even when it snows. He's very warm blooded and does not like to be hot. When he was born, he was 10 days premature and had to be under the bili-lights. Everytime we went to see him, he would be scrunched down at the bottom of the incubator, out from under the lights. Even then...he didn't like to be warm. Go figure! Maybe that's the same thing with all the dorks who wear shorts in winter?? LOL! AngD

Subject: Well could be, AngD. Remember you are in TX, we are in Ohio....temp differentiation there... I am talking 0, teens, winds... COLD stuff. These kids have to wak to a bus stop, it isn't like they run from their houses to get on. And my bus in not a warm bus. It would be if it was in FL or TX on a sunny day! And I hate it when I have to shovel the drift out of it when it snows. Send that baby of yours on up our way....we could give him a dose of cold. JuMPer
