Subject: A former classmate was one who never failed at anything. Now at age 39 she has found herself alone (divorced). She set her eyes on someone who didn't return the feelings and it made her go a bit off the deep end. She saw it as failure. She tried to get out into the dating pool but found it much harder in a small town as a 39-year-old then when she was 21. All she could see was failure to find someone. eom/Jo
