Subject: Simply put..........he wants to leave so why would people try to keep him on the show? In trying to get voted off, he's made a fool of himself. For those who like him and trust his reasons for wanting to leave, the kind thing to do would be to vote him off. Anything else is CRUEL. I'm sick of going through this every year. (thought we were done with the Sanjaya syndrome.....guess not). /sb

Subject: SB, with all respect. and in light of healthy debate...wouldn't ANY of the competitors say the same thing about being homesick and tired. I am sure ALL of them want to go home (can you imagine how homesick David Cook must be knowing his brother is so ill?). My point is that just b/c he wants to go does not mean he is TRYING to get voted off. We don't KNOW that for sure, and I find it unfair to him. He may be feeling the serious pressure and not coping well. bella tx

Subject: bella,,,,,,,,,As I was telling Nicky, I do a LOT of reading each week about the ''goings on'' with this show. While the others may feel the same as Jason, they seem to be handling it better. I don't see anyone else attempting to have themselves voted off. Do you seriously think he sang like he did in order to STAY??? I think not. According to the coaches, he doesn't practice, he doesn't learn his words, he refuses song suggestions, he parties, he sleeps a lot, and has a rather ''que sera, sera'' attitude. This is what separates him from the rest. Early on he delivered some delightful performances and I thoroughly enjoyed him. I'm sure he's feeling pressure as are all of them BUT Jason seems so liaise faire about it all. In light of healthy debate, can you admit that he may be just as he appears? I assure you that either Linda or I will find out what happened with Jason and I will put it on the board when I know. Fair enough??? /sb

Subject: I totally agree with ya SB - he needs to pull himself out!!! It's not fair....well, I say it's not fair. I only wanted him to make top four because i thought that was when they did the make-over's - LOL! I wanted that dam hair cut!!! I totally believe that he parties all the time!!! For one thing, when they interview him, he sounds stoned!! To me, at this point, he is making a mockery of the show and a fool of himself. It reminds me of the Sanjaya thing as well, though - and I can't believe I'm saying this.....at least Sanjaya tried!. AngD
