Subject: My daughter who is now out of state isn't making a big deal out of the birthday, so we will be traveling there. No one else would be going. Everyone else involved lives within a 5 mile proximity. To tell you the truth, my son and daughter in law probably don't care. My daughter in laws familyl and friends will be in abundance though, so maybe that's why I am resenting the fact that no one but hubby and I will be attending granddaughter's party. The true fact is, I have always kept up with my nieces while my sister is so preoccupied with her own kids that she never really got to know mine in the same way I know hers. I think that's why I feel it more deeply. To be truthful, its her loss. - Donna E
