Could that have anything to do with Paula's brainfreeze last night? Like starting another round of PaulaWatch-for-Stupidity-and/or-Drunkeness/Drugginess?

I don't watch the show, except that I sometimes catch the last 5 minutes or so before Hell's Kitchen comes on.

Paula always acts loopy to me. I don't know if she is always drunk, or what. I have seen parts of episodes of her reality show and she acts goofy on it too. Maybe that's just how she is, a dingbat.

My cousin listened to Ryan Seacrest's radio show this morning and Ryan said that Paula was scribbling notes, but didn't put names next to the comments she wrote for David (Cook I think), so it looked like Jason had 2 comments. It was a rush-rush show - trying to finish everything within the hour live show. Simon was feeling frustrated, so he threw away his notes.

Paula looks like she's on drugs or something.

The funny thing though about last night was that Paula actually seemed really with it UNTIL that moment, lol.

I dunno, I honestly think she just started rattling off her notes from rehearsal. She probably REHEARSED in her head how she was going to combine the two critiques together and then just blew it.

I have to say, I did something SORT of like that once in a business presentation. I seriously just lost my head for a moment and recited the wrong information. It wasn't about something that had not happened yet (lol), but it was embarrassing as all hell nonetheless. My peers and the participants made me feel worse b/c they were so supportive and just felt so bad. The bad part was that I was known to be a pretty solid speaker and the group I was presenting to had actually requested ME to deliver the info....double ouch. Oh well, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. We are only human, and I sure can admit my faults and laugh about it now (sort of, lol). That's why I just sort of feel bad for Paula...she probably feels SICK about the whole thing and her self confidence is probably really shot.

bah, I really dont think it was that big a deal. She obviously took notes during rehearsal and was thrown when they did not wait until they had sung both songs. The original plan was to not do a critique until after both songs were sung, then Ryan/producers changed it up. She just started reading her notes from rehearsal and was not with it enough to remember they had only sung one song at that point in the show. Duh she is such an airhead sometimes. But it sure keeps 'em talkin...

I don't watch AI, but that story was all over the news this morning, so I saw it on my morning TV newscast, then heard it again on the radio in the car on the way to work.

At most, this woman needs a straight jacket and a padded room.

At the least she needs outpatient psychiatric treatment.

I'm sure TPTB at AI will never fire her because the stories of her insanity are great publicity tools.

In my opinion the only one that should stay is Simon. I am very tired of the other three. You always know what Randy and Paula will say, and I think they need new blood. BRING BACK BRIAN DUNKELMAN! Well maybe not.

I'm acquainted with Dunkelman because he was on the latest season of Celebrity Fit Club. Why, I have no idea; as he is a scrawny little guy and doesn't need to lose weight. He did lose some though. He seemed okay to me; kind of funny. He has a new baby.~Carissa
