I need some new guys! LOL! I love the blues, and rockin' blues. Here are a list of my favorite guitar players - not necessarily in this order~

I tried to listen to Albert Castiglia, but didn't like him too much. I used too like Chris Duarte, but he seemed to be getting religious, so... Anyway, besides all the classic blues men like Albert King, etc., I need some new guitar guys. Any recommendations? My BIG problem is this - after I listen to Eric Sardinas, nobody comes close to MOVING me! Its like - how do you follow that?
Hey, Kat! I'm gonna get back to you! My husband is a guitarist and is way more knowledgable than me about who's who, as far as blues guitarists per se. I'll get him to list some names for you to check out. I don't pay that much attention to genre, but love me some good guitar! Tinsley Ellis happens to be from our area. I like rockin' blues too, more than the older traditional blues stuff, although I do appreciate it.
Off the top of my head for blues, I love old Jonny Lang stuff, of course Clapton; John Mayall has a great guitarist and great band; Derek Trucks, so many others to talk about (yeah they do rock and blues). Oh, and Bonnie Raitt, let's not forget her! We listen to lots of music, old and new, and always interested in checking out new stuff! And I've got so many more that I'll get back to you about. Looking forward to talking to you more about music and other stuff!!
