Topic: Just checking in..

It's been a while since I've been here so I thought I'd let you all know I'm still here. I've just been busy or too tired to get on the computer. I had another relative pass away. My cousin's husband died last Friday 6/20 of a massive heart attack. This year just isn't the best year for us yet!!! Now my mom has been off work for almost this whole month & the doc doesn't know when she can go back. She has (had it for sometime now) COPD & they just now are finding out her artteries (sp?) are hardening & they just found out she has diabetes. Her's is way more outta control than mine. She is only 59 & I'm afraid of losing her. She has to go to a heart specialist on the 2nd. Please pray, send vibes, or whatever you do, her way. She is MY BEST FRIEND!!!!!!!!

Laken, I am sorry you have to deal with all of that right now, especially on top of the other thing.  I'm sure you are worried about your mom.  Hugs & prayers to you & your family.  I hope your mom gets some positive news from her doctor.

I hope there is some good news also! She goes back to the heart specialist 7/8. They are talking possibly stints, not sure yet.

Laken, I'm new here, just saw your welcome message above and responded.  Thanks again! I'm so sorry for your family troubles, and I hope things improve with your mom.  59 is really young but with good care and health management, she may be just fine and better than ever. Good thoughts for you & your family for better days ahead!
