Hey, weebles!   I've watched soaps since I was a kid in the 60s!  I started watching GL when I was 2-3, with my grandmother!   Watched mostly CBS soaps.   When I was in jr high and high school, watched AMC, GH and OLTL (in the 70s).  Also watched Y&R, ATWT and GL.  (Don't know HOW I kept up with so many, when I was also in school!   I remember I'd ''usually'' watch ABC, and then lived with grandma, and would ask her all that happened on the CBS shows.   and watched them sometimes.)  Didn't start watching NBC until the 90s.  Wanted to see Lisa Peluso when she started on AW (I hadn't seen her since she was a kid on SFT, which I used to watch, with LOL!)   Paulina (Judi Evans) got me hooked on AW as soon as I started watching it, which was really strange, as I had HATED her Beth, when she was on GL!   But I have LOVED her in all the other characters I've seen her in!  I think I started watching Days from seeing the snippets that went off, while I was taping AW, and then started watching both.  I was watching back when Vivian and Ivan were on, and Susan had Marlena and Kristen locked up in the secret room while she impersonated Kristen (one of my favorite SLs EVER), and Sammie and Carrie (I HATED Carrie) were fighting over Austin, and Princess Gina was on.   I finally quit watching, cuz it got to where I just couldn't stand too many of the people on it, and Carrie really pushed me over the edge!   (I always loved Sammie, especially back when she was really mean!)  I was just devastated when GL went off, as I still liked almost every character on the show (which is really unusual for me, and was what kept me watching AW till it went off--I really liked all the characters on there, plus I loved all the comedy on there!)  I switched over to this show because I heard that Kate and Stefano were married (and I didn't believe it), and I knew Vivian was back on, so I was going to check them out, and I haven't been able to miss anything since!  I am LOVING Maggie; she is SO beautiful and sweet!   I'm really enjoying Melanie and actually Phillip, and Justin!   And Viv, Stefano and Victor are TOO much fun!   I'm really liking all the SLs that are on right now.  I quit watching ATWT about a year and a half ago, because the writer on there is SO terrible; there aren't words for how I loathe her and what she did to the show!   The SLs were like only a couple weeks long (sometimes not THAT long), and the characters were just AWFUL!   She took great characters and has just mutilated them.   I got sick of B&B and quit watching a couple years ago.  Bradley Bell (the writer) is just a flatout pervert, and it's the same stuff OVER AND OVER AND OVER!   (I mean, how many times do we have to go through Brooke and Ridge stuff, with 60 year old people acting like they're 20!  And I'm sorry, but that son-in-law thing with Brooke is just BEYOND anything I've ever seen!)  I DID start watching Y&R when I knew GL was going off.   I had quit watching that in the mid 90s (for the same reason I had stopped Days, only there were even FEWER people I liked on Y&R).  I was really enjoying Y&R, but when I saw Days, I knew it was just LOTS better than Y&R (they were hitting a dry spell between SLs).  And I was actually GLAD to see CC, even though I didn't like her on GL.   I like her Carly on here; it's really nice to see her being a sympathetic character, instead of the horrid shrew she was on GL!)  I didn't see the possession SL, was before my first time watching, I think!  fee
