The actress who portrays Mia did a great job today, with her emotions. She was so heartbroken, but then she started to put the strange things of the whole story together. She ended up visiting Nicole in jail. I am curious to see what Mia does next.
An Emmy to Mia plus Nicole (their portrayers, that is).

You have got to be kidding. The actress that plays Abby on Y&R is younger than her. Another example is Camryn Grimes. She was acting circles around this girl at half her age. So age is not an excuse. She acts circles around Mia's portrayer and that is not saying much. Mia and the actress are cute as a button but that is about it. She does fine for the character when her scenes are not emotional. Other than that TERRIBLE. DREADFUL. Christopher, I am with you buddy!
Sorry Chris, gotta go with Hy on this one. I think this kid has been, well yeah - Perfect. While maybe she could use some more acting experience (as anyone her age could) - I think she has been totally believable and convincing as a naive young girl who has become entrapped in this crazed web of deception. You can feel the weight of the world on her shoulders and her own self-loathing and guilt. She's had to put up with psycho Chad's rantings and accusations, been duped and used by topnotch deceivers like Nicole and Stefano, and been forced to lie to the One person she truly cares about, Will - - and IMO, AAAlllll of that seems to be totally evident in her face, her overall demeanor, her body language, everything! Every time she is on screen - there is no doubt that this is a young girl who is convincingly going through the hardest time of her young life - and it always seems to just get worse! You can just feel this kid's depression and disillusion and distrust.
And not to mention that no one can turn on the waterworks like this kid - I mean, in an instant. She reminds me of a play doll many years ago that would cry [after you poured water into it]. Her tears just flow out of her. And I cannot wait for her scene with Nicole. Just her walking in said it all - she didn't have to utter a sound. Now that's the sign of good acting.
And of course - don't get me started - but in her scene when she finds out from Miss Drop-the-ball (again) - - she took over that scene so completely, she made Nadia invisible. Chloe the Lame, once again just became part of the background curtains.
So, YES - by all means, give this kid an Emmy - in the young actress category -ABSOLUTELY!!!

You are being facetious, correct?
Mia sucks, the character and the actress. She's only good for saving me time as I FF through all of her scenes.

I almost never disagree with you, H .... This time, I do :(
So...Let me ask you a question:
Do you feel that the actress has done an emmy'worthy job all along, or just in this one instance?
IMO - She certainly did a nice job in the Jail Scene, but, overall, I think the young actress (who is cute as a button) is Horrible.
JMO!!!
