I haven't read the other posts yet, but what was with today's episode? Flashbacks to the 1980's and early 90's. Stories that are long gone. The identity of John Black has been explored about what...100 times...and he always turns out to be somebody different. Remember when he was a Priest? And one time he was a jewel thief. And, a few years ago, we find out that John was raised as an Alamain and was named "Forrest Alamain." And his brainwashing by Stefano (already has happened a zillion times before) is just becoming so silly. A disc that can show what happened to John's memory before Rolf erased it? This John s*** is just absurd.
However, I love Ava! I like Nick also, and if Chelsea hurts Nick by going after that old doctor, I'll be outraged. Just had to vent!

Message: See my post below. I loved it really good talk between Sami and John. Love the flashbacks! You see we like them bc we were watching them back in the day, so it is nice to go back. John was so dreamy and hunky then! (still good looking nowdays tho!!))
Ava story might be ok, if she turns her self around we will see. Don't care for Chelesa, Nick, or any of them!

I really liked the show. It was much more in depth and gave us a chance to connect with the characters a little more. Great use of flashback. I was only disappointed that EJ was back to his old tricks. Call me naive but I was really hoping that he had turned over a new leaf in the name of love.

It was a great show. I really enjoyed the flashbacks. And to make it even better there was no sign of Stephanie, Max, Chelsea or Dr. Duh!

Message: I thought it was pretty cool getting to see the old footage; it certainly brought back some memories. I sort of hope they do it again today.

I was wondering what others though of todays show, with it's limited cast and longer scenes. I actually preferred the longer scenes, not 60 seconds and cut to another scene.
While I did watch the show in the 80's I enjoyed looking back at the younger actors, especially 'Sami' who was just a teenager!

Message: It was kind of neat seeing Sami as a 15-year old. Those were the days when she was cast as the ''less attractive'' sister. Boy, has she ever become a swan! Instead of pursuing other women's men, she has two men pursuing her.

Message: I kind of got a bang out of it, stupid as it is, at least it's funny. Plus I had actually forgotten the actual reason Sami hated John so much all those years was because of the doing on the desk in the boardroom incident. She didn't bring up how she tried to keep him a drug addict. Talk about holding a grudge! Hooeeee!
