Additional Comments: A new one, brand new and unexpected...What Would It Be? Something involving the current cast that could get people REALLY interested...
I had a crazy thought today along these lines...
Maggie's a damn nice, fine looking woman but she has a hubby that is never seen. Mickey has all the appeal of a dead flounder anyway, so why not kill him off. Make Maggie a widow, very eligible and wealthy, considering Mickey's estate and Chez Rouge, then pair her up with another interesting, eligible and lonely Salemite...Say ROMAN! They'd be a great pair. Roman is showing his tougher police side lately which gives him more depth and Maggie is so like Caroline, lovely as she ages, a real nurturer and she also has Alice's knack with donuts. They would make a terrific matriarch/patriarch duo that would tie two of Salem's families together.
That would be a good storyline, IMO. Especially if something tragic befell John and Marlena is free and comes home, (with a smaller salary in tow) and becomes a potential couples-wrecker!!!!

I want TPTB to hire Greg Vaughn to play Eric Brady. He would be the perfect addition to the Nicole/EJ/Brady/Arianna set. I would also like to see Dr. Dan and Chloe ride off into the sunset - permanently.

I would bring back John & Marlena, Steve & Kayla and perhaps Shawn and Belle (with a new actress playing her part) I would definetly bring in as many Hortons as possible. Bill could return and Tommy also. They could have Horton doctors and Salem Hospital again. That would be great. There are all kinds of potential storylines for the Hortons and Bradys.

I would finally do justice to the EJ Wells-DiMeras storyline and bring Susan Banks (at least temporarily) back into the storyline. We would be told how, when, and why baby Elvis was separated from Susan Banks and Edmund. Susan may be a total goofball, but I am sure she'd be very unhappy to know the stuff EJ has been up to lately and how he's treated Sydney.

They've HAD decent actors cast, KC just doesn't know what to do w/the character. He hasn't for yrs. Who can blame the original actor for feeling undervalued & that 'retirement' looked better than the alternative of another several yrs on the shelf, waiting for opportunities that were never going to come?! eom

I'm on the fence about bringing John back to the canvas. I'd have to think long & hard about what was left for him to do to bring him back.

But I would bring back Mickey (making him intelligent), Sarah, Melissa (they both could have all sorts of story potential having been gone for so long), Jennifer, Jack, Kayla, Patch (again, bring them all back w/their integrity & intelligence intact). I would also bring back Doug & Julie on a more regular basis.

I would look further back into the show's history & possibly touch on some of the unexplored history of characters, like Laura Horton.

I get back to basics, making storytelling the priority, along w/being true to the characters & the show's history.

I would bring Tony back, again w/intellience & integrity. I would ship Stefano off somewhere, never to be seen again.

I'm still sad about Tony and Anna leaving the show. But I love nasty old Stephano. He is a realy character and he would be missed IMO eom/shar
