Additional Comments: Didn't you get the distinct impression that Kate's affair with Dr. Dan was years and years ago, like maybe not so long after his wife had died? Didn't they seem to be in another time and a different town? And that he was a guy that she didn't know (as opposed to someone that was in the middle of treating people she knew)?

Really...wasn't that the deal?

No, you're not crazy. At first I though the Dr. Dan/Kate affair happened a while ago but then realized it was a recent thing. She's such a tramp, I think she has slept with every man in Salem. Wish they had hooked her up with Trent instead of giving him the boot.

Though I've seen very little of this story because I don't like it, I do agree with you. I thought it happened years and years ago too.

You didn't see them getting it on, because in fact they really didn't. The story was invented retrocactively to mess with Dan/Chelsea. I think it was first conceived when Kate was in the hospital and refused to let Dan operate on her. Just another sample of Days revisionism. It's okay with me as long as they drop Dan and Chelsea.
