Topic: I like Chelsea with the doctor

Oh, I agree that there is one thing that the doc likes about Chelsea, but I don't think it has anything to do with her courage and loyalty!  She's a very, VERY young female, and lots of guys like that--generally that's enough.

For Chels, Doctor Dan is a hero on a white steed-despite what he actually looks like.  It's a transference thing, I'd say.  There's nothing wrong with her having an affair with an older guy, but it's going to be sex, sex, and nothing else for us, the viewers! 

There's something not "right" with this guy--and I hope we aren't going to see Chels suffer more.  She seems to be the token ill-fated type!  Bad things just keep happening to her!  And while there are girls out there like that, I don't want to see it, thank you very much.

You know, I don't understand what all the fuss is about Chelsea and the doc as well....what is the big frigging deal. She's not 12 years old people. She's a GROWN, ADULT, WOMAN...jeez...so he's a little older than she is. There are celebrities who are making it work that have a huge age difference. Catherine Zeta-Jones & Michael Douglas....Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore..I could go on and on. My sister and her husband have a 25 year difference. She's 36 and he's 61..they have three beautiful daughters together. Looking at them, yeah, they don't look like they belong together. But he treats my sister like a queen, he's not a rich man, but he treats her well and my sister loves and respects him. Age shouldn't matter when you're truly in love with someone. Unless of course, the girl or guy is underage and the other person is an adult...then of course it's wrong. But these are two consenting adults.

Another thing that really irks me is the attitude towards Chelsea. That girl has been through hell and back. Accidentally killing her brother, almost getting raped by Ford, giving up a part of her pancreas for her father. I think she has MORE than proved she has grown up, matured and is ready for a real man and an adult relationship. I say BRING IT ON...this will make for interesting drama AND yes, passion. There is soo much possibility with the fall out when Bo and Hope realize that the doc has feelings for their daughter and vice-versa. Not to mention how Victor may feel about it, Nick...Max...Stephanie (although she'd probably be all for it! LOL!)....Nick is sweet and all...but I don't think he's right for Chelsea...I can't wait for the kiss to happen.....

Hold on...when she accidentally killed her brother she was not supposed to even be driving a car. I think her license was suspended or some such. She almost got raped by Ford because she set him up, drugged him, then ran up the stairs, caused his death. In the real world she would have be culpable for his death, due to the fact (if for no other reason) that she drugged him and that's why he fell. She's an immature air head and I can't figure out why this supposedly world traveler, amazingly educated, super doctor isn't bored senseles by her like the rest of us are. theda

AND...right up until she gave up part of her pancreas she was still in love with poor old Nick. Now she kicks him to the curb while her equally dumbassed friend cheers her on. Very high ick factor. theda

Wow...harsh. Granted she didn't have a license to drive, but how many teenagers drive anyway? I'm not saying it was right, but hey, she paid the price severely..don't you think? As far as entrapping Ford the rapist..she was trying to help her friend Corty get this scum...scare him a bit, give him a taste of his own medicine. Who's to say, if we were in that situation, we would want him to squirm a little too. They didn't realize it would end up with Ford falling down the stairs dead. Yeah, in the real world, she would be held responsible for it, but given the circumstances, I'm sure the jury would be in her favor.....As far as her being an immature, airhead...hardly...yeah, maybe the old Chelsea...but not since all of that has happened in her life and I can think of one reason why the doc has fallen so hard for her, it's because she's shown how self-less, loving and BRAVE she is when she was WILLING to give up (possibly) her own life to save her father's....jesus, if that's not one of the ultimate sacrifices, I don't know what is. She deserves to have a little happiness in her life. She's proven herself and to others that she is a 'good' person and worthy of people believing in her. If Hope can forgive her for what happened to her own child Zack...then we can too.

What is a DOM? Sorry...I was racking my brain trying to figure out what that term means, I've heard it before somewhere....:o)

I'm not sure yet - - the jury is still out on this one for me - - I'll have to see.  There is something though that kinda bugs me - - not sure if it's his perpetually-scuzzy look with the messed-up mop and grunge appearance - or that he was almost Chelsea's height today - - or that he has a bit of a "monkey" look to him - - - like I said, it's "something".  Or maybe all this surfer-dude talk about catching a wave - - -I don't know - but as usual, it does seem to fall short in that the Days morons just CANNOT put a Full character together - it always has to be some "mysterious" half-concocted weirdo.

 

Between him and filthy-Max, I just don't get why some of the guys have to always have these wretched dirty appearances to them - like you want to just throw them in a shower and shave them.  And then there's Philip - who is so perfect looking, you can just smell his great cologne!
