So for months now, we've been involved in a "mystery" storyline with Chloe and Brady. The authorities chasing Chloe because of the mysterious disappearance of her husband. Her threats of killing him. Phillip's "team" combing the world for him. Now we find out that Victor forced him into rehab????????????? Well that is exciting. NOT!!!!
And - Chelsea has a mysterious infection. She can never have children. Well that is exciting. NOT!!!
The only kind of story Corday can think of is let her get pregnant, let her have a problem pregnancy, let her not know who the father is, let someone mix up the babies, let her become sterile.
Sheesh!!! Woman can do a lot of things without involving their reproductive organs. Someone tell this to Corday and his so-called writers.
Also, speaking of Chelsea's infection, maybe her scruffy, unshaved, dirty-looking, hoodie wearing doctor gave it to her.
Actually, it is a blessing that Chelsea cannot reproduce. LOL!
Look out-this is Dena Higley creating sympathy for the character. I predict DH will turn Chelsea into the new Natalie from OLTL-DH thinks every one pines to see a young female character who was not raised with her biological parents, encounters many obstacles, and has the world against her, so therefore the character (DH thinks) reflects the American Dream.
It's already started-DAYS will revolve around Chelsea. GMAB.

Message: What I don't understand is why Victor hates Chloe so much. From what I remember, Victor and Chloe got along just fine and Victor was even going to build an Opera House in Salem for her to perform in. Are we to believe that things got so bad between Brady and Chloe that Brady turned to drugs and Victor now blames Chloe for it? That seems like a bit of a stretch to me. I just hope that the writers do a better job of filling in some of the blanks.

Message: I'm hoping all the disjointed scenes and writing we're being treated to right now are due to the changeover in writing staff post-strike. I totally agree about how utterly boring things have been for at least the last week and then some. Personally as dumb as the Brady-in-rehab storyline is at least you can sort of connect the dots since he is John's child and it hasn't been too long since John himself was addicted to pain killers and anyone who has been watching awhile and seen how Chelsea has behaved at different times will shed no tears if she is not able to procreate someday. I'm not familiar with the new head writer but some people who seem to be have not been complimentary and in fact predict even worse to come. Maybe they are going to bring in an edgy kind of actor to portray an addicted Brady and trying to save his son might cause NuJohn to have a breakthrough regarding his past. Nah, on second thought that makes too much sense for Corday and company.
