Topic: Did I miss something regarding Nicole and Victor?

As I recall, the last time Nicole was on, Victor had her completely under his thumb.  She couldn't go anywhere or do anything without his permission.  Now all of a sudden she comes back making all kinds of demands, acts like she's the queen of the universe and Victor doesn't really do a thing.  What did I miss?

Yep, there was a time when Nicole was under Victor's thumb.  On Nicole and Victor's wedding day, Nicole murdered Colin Murphy since he was blackmailing her.  Victor uncovered the evidence and threatened Larry Welch into confessing.  Victor blackmailed Nicole and she had to do everything he said: he fired her from Titan, confiscated her money, car and booze and made her life hell.  Nicole and Jan conspired to murder Victor and he was electrocuted in the bathtub.

Victor turned up alive on the island with the victims of the salem serial killer (a brainwashed Marlena) and Colin was also alive on the island. 

Since Colin didn't die and Victor didn't die, I guess Victor doesn't have as much ammunition and control over Nicole as he used to.

I was very happy when Victor kicked Nicole out of the house, on Fridays show.  But, what I am wondering is, how is it that he can do that NOW and he couldn't when she first arrived?  Also, When Nicole and Victor were talking and she told him she would let his "secret" out and he called her bluff and then she went to Chloe with the "secret" IMO she is lying to Chloe to cause trouble.  I just do not believe Victor knows where Brady is.  All H is going to break out for Nicole.
