Additional Comments:

Well the verdict is in and all over the internet...people HATE the sami of the last few months...and i seem to be faaar from the only one that feels that during this time the Alison Sweeney who was FABULOUS for like 15 years straight...hasn't quite been there..SO:

Where do all you guys place the blame for this rapid demise of a character???

The obviously 'less than all there' performances of the great ali sweeney?

The writing?

Storyline?

Directing?

Lack of good costar? (Rafeee???)

Everything falls on KC.  He is co-owner & has creative control of the show--as he is always telling us, along w/the 'fact' that he thinks he is doing justice to his parents' legacy, NOT.  The directing, producing & writing have all suffered because of KC's decisions.  As I've said before, he is proof that talent isn't genetic.

Ken Corday-----I blame him for everything.  He gives no one real creative control.  The writing has been all over the board for years now.  Started with James R., then Hogan, now Deana....writer changed after writer change.......so then the writing isn't consistant.

I love Ali.  I have said for years she is the one that has kept me watching.  Yet, she is not getting good writing right now.  Her reason for not wanting to tell E.J. about being pregnant with his second child is stupid, ungrounded and holds no reason. They share one child and that child is in E.J.'s care, now while she is gone. She isn't freaking out about the influence Stephano is having on Johnny, she isn't fighting like hell to get out of the mansion.  In the real world a girl would go live with their mother or father, if she was worried about safetly and well being.

They never have explained if Sami still wants to be E.J., apprently she definately doesn't want to be with Lucas right now, nor does Lucas want to be with her. So who does Sami want?  What does Sami want?

I usually think that Ali has chemistry with her co-stars.  But with Rafe----there is nothing.  Nothing like what she had with Austin, Brandon, Lucas and E.J.

  • Good points keekee...Brandon/Sami: Practically burned down the studio they were so hot...Sami/Lucas: Always good chemistry and seemed like they were best friends and possibly perfect for each other...but both too immature...Sami/Elvis: I think alot of goods AND bads with this pairing; i'm not a ejami fan, but, they've definitely had chemistry-especially early on...Austin/Sami: Poor old blockheaded Austin (Duh???) was always about 100 steps behind her, wasn't he lol? ...But, all that aside, the current point, imo, is trying to figure out just WHO at DOOL/HOW DOOL has managed to make such a long-time liked and very poular character so Hated so amazingly quickly?? And Where Ali's previously top-notch acting ability has gone?? - PT/Chris
