Additional Comments: This is not a spoiler, just my guess. And I suppose we ought to call her "Agnes" because that's what the agency called her, lol.
I think she's doing this in order to extort more money from Nick and Bridget later on. She agrees to the surrogacy for the usual fee, carries the baby 9 months, then after delivery when she's got their hopes up she demands much, much, much more money. This would then tempt Nick and Bridget to possibly buy what would essentially be a black market baby. They'd never be tempted to do that at this early stage, but after 9 months of updates on the unborn and hoping and dreaming about this particular baby it would be more difficult to do the right thing, go to the police and risk the surrogate just taking off with the baby. Agnes/Sandra was doing an Internet search on them which would seem to indicate that she doesn't know who they are - so maybe she was just trying to target the richest couple she could find.

She is up to something, that is for certain. It seems to be the coordinator that wants to get back at Nick or Bridgett for some reason. Sandra didn't seem to know them, however, she does know Whip. I am wondering if a switch isn't going to take place here.

I was thinking that possibly she either won't be pregnant at all or is and aborts or something along those lines. I once saw a 20/20 or 48 Hours about a women who agreed to give up her baby to private adoption and faked her pregnancy to scam money over the course of nine months from the awaiting families.
This, of course, might get tricky since the hospital is in on the insemination, but I also think maybe Bridget's run-in with Carl might be foreshadowing him somehow screwing things up that covers up the fact that Sandy never goes through with the insemination.
That said, I'm surprised Bridget really felt so immediately excited about her. She's very standoffish and acts shifty and not very intelligent or personable. Although clearly Nick is getting the vibes on that, so at least that is good.
