Topic: Spoiler-How dare Brooke!!!!!!

I visit another B&B messageboard in addition to this one and it's interesting to see almost opposite reactions to this slap.

Over there, approx. 3/4 were cheering for the slap. Most really hate Katie over there.

I can't quite figure this out, however this slap doesn't upset me.

I think it was a good move on B&B's part to write this in, because it get's people talking.

Like Stephanie, love or hate Brooke, the board seems to pick up.

Brooke should NOT hit a pregnant woman and particularly a heart transplant patient. Will she aslo hit Nick or does he get a free pass??? Bridget is the one who should call Katie out on her behavior NOT Brooke who has done worse. laura

ITA Laura. Brooke had no right to slap Katie, especially given Katie's recent transplant & more importantly, Katie's pregnancy, FGS. I am no Katie fan, but Brooke was way out of line, especially given her checkered pregancy past with one of Idgit's hubby's. BFF

ITA BFF, and I know you are a Brookie but you are able to criticise when she deserves it. I would be happy if Brooke slaps Nick though, he deserves it! Also Bridgit did alot to bring this situation on herself! Who gives thier partner a free pass to do 'whatever it takes ' to make another woman happy??? Budge is such an IDIOT!! Laura

If Crooke slaps Katie for sleeping with Nick, it's not out of concern for Budge.  That much you can be sure of.

Brooke is not mad that Katie slept with Nick because of Bridget.  She is mad because she is still in love with Nick, herself, and she doesn't want him to be with anyone else.  Maybe she thinks that Bridget is a surrogate for her so that makes Nick and Bridget ok in Brooke's mind but not anyone else.  I don't think Brooke was ever happy about Nick and Taylor's relationship, either.

Whoa, slapping a recent heart transplant patient who nearly died is about as low as one can get.  Plus the fact that Katie is as young as Bridget, and not as "mature" as Brooke was when SHE slept with Deacon and Nick.  It's okay for a mother to sleep with her daughter's husbands, but not okay for the aunt to sleep with them.  Brooke is a piece of work.

How can you blame it on the writing and not Brooke? lol. It makes no sense. This is Brooke's M.O., she's always slapped women around. Once something is written, it's part of that character. .....Canna

I'm not trying to be smart or anything, but I can't remember seeing Brooke ever slapping anyone. I've seen Stephanie do all kinds of things to Brooke, but I don't recall seeing Brooke doing that. Could someone enlighten me please? Thanks ShirleyB

I certainly remember Brooke slapping Ashley over her comment that Brooke was using her rape for sympathy. I also think she slapped Taylor but I can't remember the circumstances. Other than Stephanie I can't think of any woman slapping Brooke, not even Budge over Breacon. laura

I would slap the hell out of my sister , if she had slept with my kid hisband. I know all that Brook has done and I am not crazy about her anymore, I know she slept with her kid's husband, but I would still be mad at my sister.

Yea...Brooke...the kettle is calling you. It really is no different then just a couple weeks ago Ridge was saying he didn't want Marcus seeing Stephie. Brooke said something like, "you can't control your kids.." or something to the OPPOSITE affect of what she said to Rick about Taylor.
