I haven't watched all this summer and somehow I did yesterday. Why in the world would someone leave a child with someone who had just miscarried? When did Brooke get visitation rights? I understand that you have to move forward however this focus on the Logans have gone from the ridiculous to the sublime. Why does Bridget have to be beaten down all the time?

Officially I can say I hate the Bold and Beautiful. JMO

I stopped watching in May, and tried to watch an episode last week and couldn't make it five minutes before turning it off. It just gets worse and worse.

pamiety, Brooke doesn't just have visitation rights! Taylor GAVE her baby to Brooke because she's not ''bonding'' with him! THAT is how far downhill this show has gone! I haven't been watching for months (except for when Donna got plastered with honey and the bear went after her-- that was MUST SEE), and I haven't missed it at all. Don't plan on watching again anytime in the near future at the rate they're going. I don't need to see another Ridge/Brooke thing, nor a Nick/Brooke thing. I've handled all of that I possibly can!

ITA fee, I can't believe that the resolution to the jack situation is for Taylor to just 'hand' over the baby to Brooke. Horrible story writing...just a total kick in the face to parents of children that don't have their DNA. I have no plan to watch either, i read the board for updates. Is that true that Pam is to be killed off??? She and Donna have been hilarious!!! Laura

What? They are going to kill Pam off....I only watch when Pam and realStephanie is on. Well bye, bye B&B. mymyatwt

I fully agree, and go beyond. The fun character of Pam is now going to get killed off (I bet Steph has to do it) just for a plot point. Like they did to John Abbott on Y&R, Dixie on AMC, and Alan on GH. Stupid short term thinking that only enrages real fans. Now Donna is a heroine, Eric is dumb, Donna's young stud has better cheekbones than she does, and basically it is all a farce.

And do NOT get me started on the whole giving baby Jack to Brooke just because Taylor had a few bad nights. That was an insult to every adoptive parent, heck, every parent on the planet. Disgusting.

Indeed, it is infinitely easier on my blood pressure not to watch. I am grateful to this board for keeping me posted on the pathetic freefall of this once kinda cheesy but fun show. If it ever regains its mojo I will be glad, but right now, I doubt it.

I didn't either. People just can't win on these shows! Love the ''Craig'' saga on ATWT. HB is doing fine, so they fire him. Then they rehire someone who's just a cartoon character, though he tried with what he was given. So THEN they hire Scott Bryce back (the real, original Craig) and he also does a wonderful job, so of course HE has to be fired! Now they're trying someone else! This show (B&B) is the absolute worst though! Anyone who does a good job (Dr. SavedByTheBell, Ashley) are canned in short order!!! fee

fee: The problem w/the character of Craig is that TPTB (Corp) & their mineons lack focus & a basic understanding/appreciation of the history of the show & the character of Craig. One of the main reasons they let SB go was because he WASN'T playing Craig as the cartoon they envisioned. I feel sorry for JL (the next recast of Craig) because like the others, he is a good actor who deserves better than he is going to be getting. eom

Agree with you and Janie. It used to be must-see TV for me, but I only watch every now and then. Writing was just too stupid. I have hope it'll improve but with the state of soaps today, the hope is fleeting.
