Topic: Taylor and Little Jack?

Has Taylor not even visited, questioned about how he is or shown any concern about her son, little Jack?? A child she carried for 9 months and gave birth to?? I know she gave him away, but you would think she would at least ask how he was doing and want to see him from time to time or wonder about him. I know she couldn't bond with him, but obviously she couldn't stand him either.

What a great Mother she is!! 

Most B&B watchers know that Taylor is not a character Brad Bell is interested anymore.

Most soap viewers in general don't over analyze everything a character does because soap writing in general is so bad. There is a reason soaps are on the decline. They are not too be taken too seriously.

But, Taylor deliberately and intentionally carried Jack for 9 months and gave birth to him! Brooke's relationship came about somewhat by mistake and unintentionally. Brooke's concern should only be that of an Aunt now that Bridget is raising him with Nick. I know Taylor didn't bond with him, but how could you just turn your back or forget?

OGMAB This is a freaking soap, she will only say what is written in the script. They write the kids in whenever it's convenient.

Brooke's concern should only be that of an Aunt But that's not the case and that's not how it was written. Brooke spent a considerable amount of time trying to steal that baby because it was hers and Nick's and she stated this often. Taylor gave it to BROOKE to raise. Brooke claimed to love that child because it was her SON that she had with Nick. I remember Brooke drilling that into Taylor's head over and over. So you can't just forget that tidbit when it is convenient. Taylor finally gave Brooke what she wanted and of course Brooke doesn't want it anymore because he can't be used to steal Nick from Bridget. eom Linny

ITA Linny....that's exactly what I meant. Brooke was given the baby as she supposedly had a special bond with him and could calm him down. Then suddenly she has very little to do with him. By the way she is closer to GRANDMA than Aunt anyway. Bridget is her daughter raising the baby not her sister. JMO La

Hey I know, next time they have Brooke sleep with a son-in-law, or doesn't end up going to Paris for her Mom, or isn't dragging Hope and RJ to all her business meetings... Brooke fans can always use the excuse too!! It's not her fault!! She's not bad ...it's the writers fault!!! Those dang writers!! Oh~ but I agree....just making a point! Taylor and Brooke are both shown to be good women, but have made some bad mistakes! Neither are bad!

And Brooke hasn't shown concern because the writers haven't had her show concern! OMG, it never ceases to amaze me how Taylor fans come up with excuses to explain away her behavior! Bwahaha!!

I don't understand why Taylor needs to show as much or more concern than Brooke about this. Taylor GAVE the baby to Brooke because Brooke loved this child because it was a miracle child created with Nick and she supposedly was the only one to bond with him. So Taylor does what everyone was sqwaking about and finally gives up the child in a very emotionally tearful scene and now she's a bad person for doing that was well. If ever there was an instance of Taylor not being able to please some fickle Brooke fans THIS is a prime example. Brooke is now OFFICALLY the child's mother, not Taylor, but somehow Taylor is still responsible for being his mother. I don't understand this at all. eom Linny

Taylor hasn´t mentioned or visited Jack since the day she "gave him up", seems she has no feelings for him. And this goes for her other children as well (sleeping with her daughter´s ex boyfriend, yuck!). Off course this is the case with every mother and father on this show, Felicia seems like she doesn´t give a flying fig about her kid (never mentions him), and Brooke seldom mentions her kids unless they´re directly involved in the SL (and Ridge, well he´s the worst father of the year, trying to please mommy dearest, marrying Taylor, never considering his son RJ).

The reason Jack even exists is because the writers wanted Nick to have a child of his own. Taylor is just used as a prop for other characters.

He could've had a child with Felicia, Brooke or what about Bridget??.... if that were the case!! Why Taylor and then have her pretty much turn her back on him and abandom him? I think it was just to show that Taylor had faults as a Mother, just like Brooke. Then Taylor went after her Brooke's son or her daughter's first love. She most certainly hasn't been a prime example of a good Mother just as the poster said. I guess they both have made some huge mistakes.

The character of Taylor can only do what the writers write for her to do. How can you fuss that she is not a great mother? It is up to the writers to make her a good mother or not. Blame them.

Wel then, the same could be said for Brooke! The writers are showing Taylor not having any concern for Jack just like some think and say, since Brooke doesn't drag her kids with her everywhere that means she really doesn't care for them and only uses them??? (Brookehaters are notorious for that!) *Terri*

Terri.......you are exactly right. That's why I can't buy into the Brookehaters or TAylorhaters. It is just a character that the writers create. They have become real people to many versus reel people but it all goes back to what the writers put in the scripts.

It's true they are characters, but I for one know I like the character of Taylor better than Brooke, or I used to. Now I don't like either one of them, and only watch the show occassionally. I like seeing Katie and Bill together now though. There have been times when I've felt Brooke has abused and used her children. Her sleeping with Deacon WHILE still married to Bridgett, then having his child, I think BB stole this SL from Jerry Springer. And when she constantly uses them to get what she wants from Ridge. Last case in point was whisking them off to Europe to be with her mother who's health was failing. Soon as Ridge said he wanted her back, all thought of going to spend time with her mother vanished. Bell writes this character as blonde as she can get.

I take it you're a brunette? ;)
