Topic: After Today's Episode There Are Two People That I Would Love To Smack Big Time!

Additional Comments: Starting with Nick, he is got to be the cruelest husband in the world. How dare he tell Bridget that he doesn't want a child with her huh? However, he was ok with having a child with that Benedict Arnold. If I were Bridget I would divorce that piece of trash immediately!!!! Now Pam, how dare she embarrass Donna like that???? If I were Donna, I would've poured some honey on her and set her butt outside and let the bees do what they do. And on a side note, Justin needs to be smacked as well. How dare he embarrass Donna like that???? Just because Donna won't give him the time of day, that doesn't give him the right to embarrass her like that period!!!!!!

Nick was 100% right to be honest with Bridget. Anything else would have been cruel...Pam and Donna were a hoot !

I must disagree. I loved Nick on Friday.  There was no beating around the bush...he came open and clean about his VERY valid reasons for not wanting that child.  Tell me, if gender roles were reversed and Nick was pushing for the child and Bridget had those same reasons for not wanting to get pregnant, same lines and all, would you have had a problem with it?  It's a cold, cruel reality that some women are not physically meant to carry children.  It may not be PC to admit it, but it's the truth.  And he was facing it.   That was a "private" (soap fiction notwithstanding) brutally honest conversation between a husband and wife.  And I thought it was well-written and acted.

I disagree. Nick was trying to save his wife and himself, from going through that horrendous heartache they endured when Nichole died. Good for him for being honest with his wife and trying to protect her from certain pain and suffering. I like him more today than I have in years!

Yeah Nick came in kinda ruff today on Bridget, but he cleaned it up when he started talking about Nicole, the baby they lost, I saw another level of Nick, and it actually looked like old JW had actually paid attention in acting class finally, I felt his emotions of the loss of his child, and the unknown loss of Bridget, very strongly in his plea today.  So that put all his ruff crashness in a new perspective.

As for Donna & Pammy, I was laughing my azz off, I would not be surprised if they make both of them hosts of the Catwalk show, when she did that cat dance, I laugh my azz off more, HM & GM make excellent comedic actresses, sometimes we just want to laugh at some silliness, and I did today....kudos!!!

  • I was truly laughing out loud at Pammy. I knew they'd want her on full time. I liked her in the Wonder Years and love her as Pammy. I stopped taping B & B and was lucky enough to see this episode. //serialmom

I disagree on all counts. Nick is trying to save his wife's life. He'd be a selfish SOB to do anything different. Pam was shoved on stage without notice because Stephanie refused to go on. After a rather rocky start she turned out to be rather funny. I think she and Donna have great comedic chemistry.

  • Also, Justin gave Donna that job because he thought she could handle it. I don't think he had any other motive.
  • After what happened with Nicole, I don't blame Nick for being scared.

From what I heard, there was some kind of complication with Bridget that prevents her from having children on her own. That's why they need a surrogate.
