Didn't she win against Aaron Spelling?  And she never put that money toward acting lessons?

  • Bump the acting lessons. That nut should have put the $$$ toward some serious therapy.Goodness knows she needs it,and yes,she needed it LONG before the tragic and unimaginably painful loss of her son.I think HT is,and for as long as I can remember, has always been a selfish yet self loathing, drama craving, attention mongering, kook.***Acting lessons are the very least of her worries.***

This will be the second lawsuit she's filed, and I hope she's as successful as she was in the first. Her first case was a landmark for pregnant women in the workplace (I taught family law as an adjunct professor at a local law school and textbooks cover her case of employment discrimination for pregnant women).

I don't think she's filing suit to lay blame, rather, you have a situation where a medical professional counseled a young man not to take his medication. The family put their trust in this person, the advice was poor, and from what I've read (and granted I don't know both sides, and thus a lawsuit allows both sides to have their say) he had a seizure that he might not have had were he on those meds. It is an issue that needs attention brought to it, just like her prior suit.

As for the statement that she should look in the mirror, I don't think I've heard anything so cruel directed at Hunter Tylo before now.

Well, she doesn't get much airtime, so I suppose she has to try to make some money someway.

    LOL!

  • I doubt the lawsuit had much to do with money. When someone loses a loved one unexpectedly, especially at a young age. they simply look for someone to blame. From what I see from that article, HT is going to have an uphill battle. ~i&b
  • If she's looking for someone to blame...she should look in the mirror!
  • I'm no Taylor or Tylo fan,but how is she responsible for the death of her son? That was a medical condition of which she tried to find help, and bascially got the wrong diagnosis. Her poor child had a seizure and fell into the family swimming pool and drowned. It was a tragic accident, and fault is not to be layed on his love ones.I also think Tylo will have a hard time winning this one.The woman lost her child and that's a pain that will never go away.flowergirl
  • Well said Flowergirl! ICAM...Laura
  • clueless, you really are clueless. How is she to blame for her child's death? What a horrible and heartless thing to say about a mother who has lost her child. There is no excuse for anyone who would say such a thing. Not even ignorance! Roxie
  • I don't see how HT is to blame. A counselor isn't a medical professional. A neurologist or neurosugeon didn't 'suggest' that her son go off his meds. He was also over 18 & legally an adult. If he wanted to believe that he didn't have to take his meds, that was on HIM, not his mother. No real medical professional would ever suggest that someone on anti-seizure meds go off them cold turkey. That alone could CAUSE a seizure. Obviously, the person who suggested that wasn't aware of the ramifications of doing that. There are ways of safely getting off an anti-seizure med, but cold turkey isn't one of them! Actually, I think that HT has a legitimate case. The counselor gave medical advice that he/she wasn't licensed to give. Actually, a counselor doesn't need a license or special training to begin with. A psychologist or psychiatrist does. eom
  • I hope you never lose a child let alone losing one and someone being as cruel as you were in your post IWTMTV.
  • I agree, gogodive. Mean post about such a serious, tragic situation.
