Additional Comments: For weeks Brooke and Donna have been trying to convince Katie that Bill was manipulating her. Could never quite figure out why he would need to. And now it's, we let Katie be the CEO, while we make all the decisions in the background. *We are family and nothing is more important to Katie*. I have to wonder if Bill figured the Forrester's would come up with something like that and that's why he proposed today? Putting Katie in the middle, which family to choose. But I have to say, I do not want to believe it, I like Katie and Bill.

For Katie to take every direction and idea from Brooke and Co and kindly decline while doing things the RIGHT way. And teaching them all how to be successful HER way. HA!

Am I wrong in assuming that Brooke was suggesting to Katie that she just be a figurehead while letting everyone else run the show? If so, that is incredibly condescending and insulting, even by Brooke & Ridge standards. Katie should have reminded her that she was just a chemist when she took over FC. As PR manager and the author of a very successful marketing campaign (that is the only thing that has kept FC afloat as long as it has) Katie is far more qualified for the CEO spot than Brooke was when she first took over.
Katie should have back-handed her snotty sister and remarked that it is the current leadership that bankrupted the company, so she could hardly do any worse!

She has captured Bill who is a handsome and very rich fellow, a proposal of marraige, a nice beach house to live in, a CEO position with a major company, her sisters thinking she is in their corner and expecting her to let Ridge run the company with her as the face in front but not making any decisions and Bill trusting her to run the company on his behalf and in his best interest, not her family's ...........
seems to me that Katie is in the 'catbird seat' and has it pretty good at the moment.

I've felt and said Dollar Bill was manipulating and using Katie all along and nothing so far as given me any reason to believe any different...actually, if his actions weren't convincing enough, then the tape?... the proposal seems to be the cherry on top!
I could be wrong and yes, there could be a twist, but it sure doesn't appear kosher to me at this point and time.
