How about option 6- let Forrester go under - retool and then launch a new design house ERT- Eric, Ridge and Thorne...then they could later launch a line just for Felica (maybe a teen line called Flea) not joking totally serious. Brooke could go into business with Donna and start a perfume line-Brooke is a chemist right? Something like B&D (like D&G) high end scents. There are all kinds of things they could do to recreate themselves.
The company going down would not take all of their personal wealth with it-that is protected. They could leverage small portions of that - secure new investors where they maintain majority control in their businesses and rock and roll....no one who has been their own boss as long as Eric has wants to work for anyone else! Why punk out-Ridge should refuse to go alone with this! He usually has more Ego this this!
Whoops did I make to much sense there for a minute! Sorry....

Brooke is following her heart, as usual, instead of her head.
Somewhat off the topic but I wonder how soon it will be until Brooke is tired of Ridge now that the thrill of the chase/ competition is over and she will go after someone else's husband/man?
Will it be her daughter's husband, Nick, or Owen or back to Eric? I'm not convinced she will be happy staying with Ridge. Besides the two of them are boring together, IMO.
'but I got this feeling today, that Bill will name Stephanie as the new President of FC.'
LOL can't wait to see everyone's reaction if that happens.
1) Sell FC to Bill.
2) Refuse to sell and have Bill take it from them because they can't afford to make the payments.
3) Make the payments, but see the business go down in flames anyway because they don't have the money to revive it.
4) Deliberately dissolve FC out of spite so that Bill doesn't get his grubby paws on it.
Options 2 and 3 clearly don't make any sense at all and would only serve to humiliate them all. Option 4 only makes sense if you're convinced that Bill will go back on his word and everyone but Katey (or maybe including Katey?) will lose their jobs. If Bill really is that horrible, then yeah they should go for option 4. But I just don't think so, so I can understand Brooke reluctantly going along with option 1. From a practical, financial standpoint it DOES make sense.
