Bold And The Beautiful Discussion Group
Even though, in real life, someone of Stephanie's age would probably be discarded by their employer at the first sign of illness or infirmity, it is so heartening to watch how the group at JackieM have rallied around her.
Yes, it can be campy at times, and yes, I was alittle embarassed for the actors having to do that ridiculous cheerleading scene, but overall, I like the human interest story. I stopped watching for a while because I was sick and tired of the Brooke/Ridge/Taylor storyline, and now I think the writers have wisely decided to put that one to bed for a while - hopefully forever!!
I even like the dynamic between Jackie and Owen, but they should drop the stupid baby storyline. Owen has never struck me as that braindead, that he would want his gorgeous, but nevertheless, eldlerly wife to become a new mother at this stage in life!! Writers, c'mon, get REAL!!
But, at least we have some stories we can sink our teeth into, and not the ridicuouls fluff that we have been forced to swallow over the past decade or so!

The show usually gets better when they back off the Ridge/Crooke/Taylor triangle. 25 years of high school drama wears very thin when the characters are old enough to be grandparents.
