Topic: Does anyone else hope that this is the end of Donna and Eric?

Additional Comments: And what do you think will happen with Taylor and Rick?  Is she going to be on some kind of sabatical?  It just seems to me that Taylor's not going to be a front burner character after she gives Jack to Brooke and Nick.  I just see it leading to a Brooke/Ridge/Nick/Katie SL.

I am not a Donna fan but I have decided that I do actually like her and Eric together.  I didn't like her much when she first came on but I do believe that she really loves Eric.  If she didn't she would have done the deed with Owen on her first chance (which by the way she never did).  In reality she only kissed Owen and some of these others cannot say they just stopped at the kissing.  Ridge is one of the worst.  How many times has he cheated on Taylor with Brooke and Brooke with Taylor?  The Forresters may be the "family" of the show but I can't stand any of them.  They are liars, cheaters, schemers, as well as many other terrible things and are no better than Donna.

Stepher's was going to get Donut, when she walked in on the woman who stole her man with HOwen.  Gee, I don't think anyone would stick around to see the show...unless you're really twisted!  BTW: Stepher's was too good to Donna at the beginning, she should have let her flounder as "woman of the house" instead of helping her learn the ropes of being the Forrester matriarch!  Stephanie rocks!!! But I don't want her back with Eric, cause he's not anywhere near good enough for her!  GO STEPHANIE:)

  • I think it was pretty twisted of Stephanie to sneak into the house of someone who had been attacked mere hours earlier, rather than calling Donna like she told Eric she would! Who does that? ~PT

YES!!!! I hope Donut hits the road and takes her sychophant, HOwen with her!  I know this is all gonna be "Stephanie's fault" because somehow she made Donna cheat on Eric with HOwen.  Yeah, whatever CRAZY, go to the psych ward with Aunt Pammy!  LMAO!!!

  • It's Stephanie's fault that she didn't call Donna, like she promised Eric she'd do when he first woke up. It's Stephanie's fault Donna was whisked out of town (rather than the more logical choice or Rick) so she could break the law with impunity. It's Stephanie's fault she's practically kidnapped her EX-husband and is holding him hostage, not allowing him to see people he wants to see, and only allowing his children (yes, Rick & Bridget are still his children, even if they aren't Stephanie's) to see him until they promised not to talk about the man's wife. All that is Stephanie's fault. And if Stephanie had called Donna like a normal person rather than sneaking around in the dark house of a person who'd been attacked not once but twice that same evening, she'd have neevr seen Donna & Own in bed together because it wouldn't have happened. Donna would have been at the hospital so fast, Stephanie wouldn't have had time to hang up the phone, lol! =^..^=
  • Stephanie DID call Donna but she did not answer as she was too busy being *comforted* by Owen. That's why Stephanie went to the house to tell Donna that Eric had awoke from his coma. Donna is a full on b!tch and deserves nothing including respect. They family tried to respect her marriage to Eric and she blew it! J.
  • Speak on it Shadowdancer !! Facts are facts. BFF
  • And the FACT IS that Stephanie went to tell Donna the good news about Eric waking up and found she and Owen rolling around on a bed together. Donna did NOT deserve to know regardless if they had sex or not. Her mind was not on her husband. Now that's a FACT.
  • Stephanie did NOT call Donna. She started to, then her phone rang and it was Pam. The next scene somebody is letting themselves into the dark Forrester house. It was supposed to be suspenseful, like maybe it was Pam, but it was Stephanie, tresspassing! ~PT

Sadly, I don't think it is the end yet.  The way Eric was embracing the "beautiful" letter from Donna and seemed like while he was grateful to Stephanie, his heart wasn't in their reunion.  They are also looking to redeem Donna in that while she clearly kissed another man several times, they will write it as she was just "sad and confused."

One can only hope but I doubt it.  Donna will soon come out on top once again and the original family will be dumped once more.  As I posted below, seems like villains always win on this show but I can only hope that I am wrong.  I have been on the REAL Forresters' side the whole time.  Can't stand the Logans.

  • As happens with sloppy writing on soaps, the core family has been ruined. Stephanie breaks the law time & time again, and no one seems to care. Her children assault people to thwart their father's wishes and ruin the company's show, presenting a false image to the press and buyers. Forget Crazy Pam, the supposedly sane ones in that family have done horrible things to Donna, affecting Eric and the company. I know long-time viewers long for the core family to remain in power, but that family's actions have made them unworthy of hero status. The writers hardly even bother to look for a loophole explanation anymore. =^..^=
  • The Forresters are villians as well. They have done their fair share of evil things to people and are no better than Donna.

I love Donna and Eric, even tho she is a stupid girl!

Stop letting Owen kiss you dummy! I don't like how Stephanie and the gang have security at the house. Why won't Donna get a lawyer?? She has rights, she is the wife, not Steffers! (btw so glad SF is back!!))

  • I like Donna & Eric together & hope things work out for them. I'm hoping that Donna & Owen won't be doing anything together now that Donna is aware that her husband is no longer comatosed or dying. She is definately no rocket scientist & is easily swayed, but I like Donna & Eric as a couple & am still rooting for them. BFF
  • I'm with you guys. :) ShirleyB
  • Me, too! I actually like them together! fee

Not really, but I just don't see how the writers are going to redeem what Donna did with Owen. Yes, we all know she didn't have sex with him, but married women just don't do what she did when she claims to love Eric. I don't care how "lonely" or "sad" she was.... I am trying to forget what she did, but it is difficult. I wanted to believe in this character. I am sure Eric will forgive her, but that will make him a wimp so to speak. If Eric were to have done that with another woman, I don't think Donna would be so quick to forgive him.

  • Just get rid of that slut Duhna-she makes me sick
  • The writers don't care about redeeming characters that do bad things, they haven't had the Forresters pay for anything since I can remember. Especially Stephanie has pulled some doozies, yet here she sits in the catbird seat once more! =^..^=

I certainly hope this is the end of Donut and Honey Bear.  That is one of the worst couplings in the history of B&B.

As for the rest of them, I really don't care.  I just wish they'd give Taylor her confidence and common sense back.  She's been an insecure mess long enough.  Time to move on from all that baby angst.

  • ITA with what you have posted. Can't stand this insane pairing, either. J.
  • ICAM, Donut is way too young for honey bear. It was fun for a while but enough already. I really hope to see a confident Taylor with Rick now. I hope that she will not just disappear like Ashley did. JMO Laura
