I've been reading (or listening to) Jodi Piccoult books since she was mentioned on this board. Right now I'm reading Plain Truth by her and listening to Water for Elephants which several people have recommended.
We will be spending two months in Prescott, AZ starting July 1. They have a wonderful library there with lots of books on CD and tape. You can reserve them over the Internet and they will pull them and put them in special stacks alphabetized by your name so you can just go and pick them up. Also, they have places all over town where they will deliver books so you don't have to go to the main library. Luckily our apartment is two blocks from the library which is one of the main reasons we stay there. I do a lot of walking in Prescott and always have a book to listen to while I walk.
You're welcome, Barb, glad you are enjoying it. I found another book that was recommended for those who like Picoult's writing style, A Year of the Fog or a Year of Fog, by Michelle Richmond. I read it in one day. Could not put it down. It was about a child that was missing while in the care of her father's financee.
For anyone interested, Jodi Picoult's book, The Tenth Circle, has been made into a TV movie and will be aired on Sat, 6/28 on Lifetime. Check your local chanels for time. I'm looking forward to watching it. It was also a good read.
